Taco Time Northwest is a family-run business headquartered in Renton, Wash. Originally founded by Frank Tonkin Sr. in 1962 the Tonkin family has been instrumental in the management of the company since the beginning. With 79 locations in the Puget Sound region, Taco Time Northwest offers the ultimate quick service experience featuring tacos, burritos and specialty side items prepared fresh daily and made to order.
For the third time in a week I went through the drive-thru and ordered four chicken tacos with no cheese. But instead I got cheese on the tacos and this time I got four beef tacos with cheese. When I came in to have the order we made and ask for a refund all I got told was they can remake. So they remake them and they put potatoes and a dessert thing in the bag and I can't eat that because of my allergies. So she wasn't listening.
Then she gives me an excuse that she wasn't given a management card to do avoid. Because I specifically asked why can't you avoid this order since it's today?
Then she walked away from me. Then she came back and tried to open the till and hand me cash. So my question is why is your manager not giving a card to do her most basic functions? Yet she can open the till they have me cash? With no record of how she gave that to me?
Then I called the customer service line from your parking lot and had to leave a message and that set me off. I have disabilities I have allergies. I'm taking a chance at eating at your store. And you completely failed the last three times.
When I left that store she walked away from me and the other employees were walking past the stare at me. Is this your ideal of good customer service? Is this how you want your customers to be treated? I had to leave the house and come back after a 12-hour work day to have my order corrected.
then I went through the drive-thru to simply asked what the manager's name was. Because she wasn't wearing a name tag.
And the girl couldn't help me. And couldn't tell me.
I will never eat at your establishment again. I'm going to encourage my friends and family is not to.
You lost a customer. Because you have no easy way to make it right for me at the end of the day.
And I can go to other establishments and not have these issues.
I don't think you respect your employees because you don't set them up for success. You don't respect your customers because there's no easy way for a resolution. I don't want extra food. I want my order made right the first time. And when it isn't I want to remake and I want my money back.
And if you don't listen to your customers telling you that, why are you in business?
Half the time when I would come through the drive-thru the chicken was dry the lettuce was brown and things were generally stale.
This is not the best Taco Time to order from anyway.
this isn't worth me getting upset over because your employees can't make something right the first time, your management is unhelpful, and simply put your food is below your own company standard of freshness.
... Reading through some of the recent reviews .... I'm not surprised at the lack of freshness and service tonight. I will NEVER eat at this taco time again. Probably never again anyone ever again.
Not worth it.
I think you need to focus on your business operations and staffing. You have major issues. And now it's going to cost you a customer and the money I regularly spent every month.

This place used to be way better. Today, Soft tacos were tiny with traces of filling in them. Fries Tasted old tacos had everything piled in one spot. Soda had no syrup. The person cleaning the dining room went back to the kitchen to help with no handwash and no gloves. The prices are expensive for a fast food joint but yet servings were tiny. Restaurant prices with fast food size portions.

Was rude and pushy for me to order. Even turned of the menu lights. I prefer the menu over here on the east side of the state. I was not familiar with the west side menu or their particular menu. Spent $30 was still hungry. The burrito platter was an absolute mess. And the burrito seemed half empty due to way was made and the $13 price for a burrito with soggy warm lettuce on the side. Total rip off.
