Subject: Urgent Complaint - Poor Service and False communication at Taco Bell

Dear Taco Bell management,
I'm writing to let you know I still have to report a serious issue with the service experience at your restaurant tonight this comes after what has already been an incredibly difficukt time - there was a house fire in my neighborhood , and I personally went into that burning building to rescue my neighbor after that ordeal, my family and I just wanted to get something to eat and rest.
Unfortunately , when we place our order under the name lisa , what should have been a simple pickup , turned into two hour or deal i repeatedly check-in at the counter and each time I was told "we're working on it" that turned out to be untrue. The order hadn't been even started 2 hours later. When I asked again , the staff looked at the screen and acted as if they had just realize order never went through properly.
Even though I checked in as required. The communication and attention to customers at the front counter were completely lacking. They just didn't take the time to listen to what I was saying. When my order was finally given to me after more than 2 hours, it was still missing several items, including drinks that were clearly listed on the ticket. I called to point this out and to the manager's credit, He admitted I was right (finally!!!) after reviewing the order. I had to point it out to him before I Left, I even asked for a drink, he says. "Was it on the ticket?" Do you know how mad I was when he asked me "was it on the ticket?"Is that something you want to tell a customer when he's been sitting outside for 2 hours? Credit to the manager. he admitted I was right after reviewing the order.However he immediately excused a mistake by saying he had been working all day as someone who has worked as a chef myself. I know how long hours can be. There are no excuses for poor service for false communication with customers. I'm requesting that taco bell review the service issues at this location ensure staff are properly trained to handle orders and customer communication and consider compensating me for the missing food and my time wasted. Thank you for your attention sincerely. A $75.00 dinner was missing quite a bit.
Update:
the manager acknowledged the mistake took care of it. We picked up our order the next day.
The corporate side never called, never acknowledge anything, not even an apology on the corporate side. Just when I call your company can answer the survey question, do you want to call back? When does that call happen a year from now? Because I still haven't got that phone call. Only tells me one thing, you really don't care? You're making their money. What difference does it make? So I feel for that manager, because he tried the best that He could, but he's short staffed. Of course and trying to delegate is not easy , so yeah , i'm going to defend the manager on this one today.
