  $7 box. Instead of chips and nacho cheese sauce, I got those cinnamon twistys. And no napkins.

  Dinner. Where once Taco Bell was about freshly prepared food, they went to preprocessed ans precooked ingredients. The food has never recovered even though its still tasty. Ever since COVID, fast food drive thrus have suffered from lack of speed, you are often left pulling up to wait for your order. Sign of the times

  told me to pull around gave my order to the wrong person then acted confused when I asked where my order was. Awful taco bell

  I mean, it's taco bell. You kind of know what to expect. I've never been to a taco bell that wasn't, over time, a bit hit and miss. That said, the ratio of hits to misses from this location is remarkably high! Sure, maybe sour cream might be missing on a nacho every once in a while, but more frequently it will be like "I think they tried to fit three soft tacos into this soft taco." I mean, if you're looking for a taco bell location for food alone, I will recommend this one. That said, the thing I appreciate most about this location is the cool people who tend to work there. I mean, I've never worked at taco bell, but I've worked many years at similar type positions. These jobs can be soul-draining if you have a bad boss or an unfortunate level of aggravating customers. Or any other number of reasons. Low pay is a good one. But there have been so many times where I've come through and the people I've gotten to talk to even briefly have brightened my day. I want to give a particular shout out to the two drive thru employees I just encountered who inspired me to leave this (hopefully adequately glowing) review. I pull up to the drive thru window. I had to buy a backup vape to my backup vape because both my vape and backup vape need presently unavailable pods. I was starting to open my vape, probably with the frantic hands of a nicotine addict, and a dude slides the window open, sees me, and says something akin to... And now that I'm writing this review I've forgotten what he said. There was a long "yo" and something about me struggling to unwrap "that boy." It was the kindest, funniest way to be informed at that moment I kind of looked like a freak. His coworker apologized, and she was super kind too, but I drove away laughing thinking about how lucky I am to live this close to this particular taco bell. So yeah! This place rules. The people who work there especially.

  I love Taco Bell. I have reviewed so many in Southeast Michigan. My favorite being in hartland. This is an absolute disgrace, to Taco Bell. Now I will say in the defense their defense with any chain fast food on the Middle belt corridor is absolute trash. There is no reason to have a pull forward and 7-minute wait for two boxes. When there were only one then a 2nd customer to pull up with no one inside. However, the real main issue is it is the worst food quality I've had probably in 20 years.... That's including the one on the Davidson and in Ferndale, (which are pretty terrible by themselves). I don't know why Mid-5/6 is in the pits. Well IYKYK 👑
