  The tacos were soooooooo goood!!! I had the fish and shrimp taco, and my boyfriend and I shared the Quesabirria tacos and that was amazing! He had the southwestern and steak, and he said they were very good also, but he really really liked the Quesabirria ones a lot!!! But if I had to pick one out of the tacos I had, it would have to be the shrimp one, it was so good! I told my boyfriend that it was by far the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few in my life time, lol. The waitress did a wonderful job, and she was so attentive and patient with us. We couldn’t decide what tacos to get and my boyfriend was also catching up with the owner, they know each other through table tennis, lol. The atmosphere was so fun and inviting and we played darts after we got done eating, and that was really fun! Overall a great experience and I can’t wait to go back! Also, the tres Leches cake was AMAZING!!! Definitely check this place out!!!!!

  Oh, boy. My main grievance is the DJ playing degrading music with f-words in it at 7pm when there’s a family in the restaurant with 2 tiny little kids (not us, we’re 3 adults, not that it matters). once they left he started playing Sade. Literally insane. We were sat at a dirty table with decent sized pieces of lettuce on it, so my brother in law asked for a different table. The host offered to sit us at a different table but apologized that it was also dirty. I feel bad about this. I’ve been a server for about 10 years, and I get it- it’s hard to work a patio *and* tables inside as well as run your own food. But our server wasn’t doing great. Immediately I knew it was going to go sideways when she was repeatedly touching her hair and scalp while also handling our drink glasses. She brought the wrong table’s food to us at first. I assume it was really busy on the patio because it seemed pretty slow inside and there was at least one other server. To top it all off, on the way out there was a man with many bags sleeping at a table by the entrance.

  I was having a bad day, so figured what better way to cheer myself up than with tacos! Denise the bartender was so nice and made my day so much better. She is amazing and full of personality. As a bartender myself, you never know how much you can change someone's day just by being bubbly and kind ❤️ The food is also amazing. The lunch special is such a great deal. $11 for two tacos, elote and either rice or beans. Anddd $4 sangrias! I left full and happy. If I didn't live across the metro I'd be there a couple times a week lol.

  Honestly the most meh place there is. Nothing wrong with it, but the food is just okay not great. The food came out fast but other than that service was slow. Pretty surprised by all the 5 star reviews. Again nothing wrong with the place, there is just truly nothing remarkable about it.

  First and foremost our waitress (Paige) was marvelous. As someone who has been coming to Taberna for a while I was surprised when I walked in on a Saturday night to a DJ. It’s a windy night, so I opted for inside. The DJ is cool, but to start at 630, prime dinner time.. Interesting. I’d love it for a bar run for good cold beer (they chill their glasses) and tacos, but I don’t think I can get it behind it for dinner service. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be back.. I’m just wondering… why?
