  I’ve been spending money with them for the last two years. Even at the old location. But the past two visits have been horrible. Customer service is atrocious now. The owner got mad because they pre make foo with tiny portions. I’ve spent thousands there and always pay extra for prices of beef and fish. Typically my meal would be around $56 instead it was $80+ yesterday. I was completely dissatisfied. They also acrobatically added tips in the price now. This restaurant is a money grab now and I will never be eating from here again. Bad service and mediocre food lately. Learn how to treat customers, especially ones who has spent as much money as I have there.

  8/27/25 I spend a lot of money at this place because the food is good, but the customer service is consistently awful. The workers always have an attitude and make customers feel like we’re bothering them just by ordering. Most recently, the restaurant was closed but their food truck was open. My husband and I ordered two plates of egusi, and the lady at the window had a terrible attitude from the start, no greeting, no professionalism, just short responses. She only brought out one plate, and when I reminded her that we ordered two, she rolled her eyes, stared at me, and claimed we didn’t say that. Completely dismissive, even though two people were standing there placing the order. This type of customer service is unacceptable. If employees don’t want to work, they should stay home instead of taking it out on paying customers. I love the food, but the service has gotten so bad that it overshadows everything else. Management needs to address this immediately. ( You need to check her, before she runs another good paying customer away.) I Will go to Mama B's they have great customer service and the food is always good.

  I do not live near this business at all, but wanted to make sure on my visit to the area I stopped to get a plate before making the 2.5hr trip back home. I tried their food the first time after a relative came back from her vacation with a plate and I have been looking forward to the day I could make a trip of my own for their food. I ordered okra soup and egusi soup both with fufu that comes with 2 proteins, and once the same relative found out I was picking up an order, I had to turn back and place another order for her too lol! They give you plentiful portions to get full on and possibly even have some left over. I wish they had a location closer to me because I would definitely be a frequent customer. I forgot to get a picture of the food before I was already digging in.

  The cuisine offered is truly remarkable and deserves recognition. The flavors are distinct and will surely be a memorable experience. The individuals working there are incredibly welcoming and create a pleasant atmosphere. Interacting with them makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. The owner's kindness is evident in his interactions with guests. Their dedication to providing a great experience is commendable. You'll likely find yourself eager to return after your first visit. You will have a positive experience if you decide to try it.

  Went up there asked for double meat; paid that price. Then when I received my food it wasn’t what I paid for instead they tried to charge me extra for what I already paid for. Even my friend who goes up there regularly said that was foul what they did.
