  I showed up with little or no ideas—just a curiosity about how movies are made. What I found was a fast, hands-on experience that made everything feel doable. The DP was incredible—so experienced and it showed in every frame we worked on. I left feeling confident, inspired, and ready to keep creating.

  I had a great experience taking the Cinematography Crash Course at Syndicate Film School. Very hands on and learn as you go. We covered different types of lighting styles, equipment, terminology, safety points, & even industry advice! Vinny (DP) is extremely knowledgeable. As the only female during my class, he really made sure I felt heard, supported and comfortable throughout the learning process. He left the floor open after class for further questions, etc. A small break & snacks were also provided! I got lucky enough to network with other amazing filmmakers through this experience. Highly recommended!!

  I went to a cinematography crash course not knowing what to expect but I walked away thoroughly informed and motivated honestly. Vinny is great and passionate about what he does. Def would recommend

  Such an amazing program! The amount of great, practical knowledge that I have gained from Syndicate in just the month I’ve been a part of it is something that not even my college film classes can keep up with. This program teaches you, through hands on experience and interactive learning, what it will ACTUALLY be like to be on a film set and a part of this career, and opens up real opportunities for outside experience and connections, which is something that the majority of other programs lack. And not to mention how welcoming and supportive the owners Vinny and Jesse are! Overall a fantastic experience and could not recommend it enough!
