What can I say, the SW at Wynn was a classy upscale delight of food, service, and presentation.
Our servers Nicholas and Gabriel were particularly helpful and attentive anticipating our needs and making solid recommendations.
The aged bone in medium rare New York Strip was so flavorful and tender, it just melted in my mouth....say "meat-candy"
We started with just a half-portion of the Seafood Spectacular a conicopia of king crab, oysters scallops, service and giant shrimp. It came on ice billowing with dry ice "smoke" for a dramatic effect. It was enough for two people.
There are tables that face a huge lakeside screen that was like having a dinner show. Our table was off to the side perfect for quiet intimate conversations.
SW steakhouse is definitely a "cut-above".
Treat yourself to this...there is a dress code so leave your t-shirts, jeans and flip flops at the door. Collared shirts, blazer, slacks or business pants are preferred.
Definitely, heading back and will save room for dessert!
We chose SW Steakhouse at Wynn for our farewell dinner and, unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disappointment. I was really looking forward to a great steak, but the entire experience fell short. The service was mediocre — our server, Katheleen, provided very minimal attention, which is not what you expect from a place like SW. Her introduction, saying they have “everything a normal steakhouse has,” set the tone — and sadly, even the steak didn’t live up to that.
Her assistant, however, was friendly and professional, which was the only positive part of the service. As for the food, it was underwhelming. We started with a Caesar salad and a shrimp cocktail — the salad was good, but the shrimp cocktail was not. The steak itself was chewy and tough, definitely not prime quality. Overall, poor service and disappointing food. The pictures online look much better than what you actually get. I would not recommend this restaurant.
It’s almost like they didn’t want us there. 45 minutes from reservation seating time til the somm came by. During that 45 minutes we had some bread dropped off and were given menus. The somm seemed like we inconvenienced him and gave us 30 seconds of his time tops. We thought this would be a luxury start to our stay but we were treated like an afterthought.

Had a 6pm booking for 2 people, got carded for ID 3 times to get one single drink, ignored blatantly by a bartender while we waited for our table as if he didn't want to serve us drinks or answer questions about wines available.
Finally got seated at 640. Trust was lost that wed have dece g service or food arrival time cor a show.
Ditched and went to another place that had better service, faster service, sat us without a booking within 20 minutes and amaaaazing food.

I have been a loyal customer of SW Steakhouse for over 18 years, frequently celebrating special occasions here, including my husband’s birthday every year. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was by far the most disappointing and upsetting I have ever encountered.
I made a reservation over a month in advance for my husband’s birthday dinner. However, I noticed two weeks prior that I never received a confirmation. I attempted to call the restaurant several times a day to confirm, but no one ever answered. Despite this, we arrived early for our 9:30 p.m. reservation. The host informed me that there was no record of my reservation and that we could not be seated. I explained the situation, but the host showed little concern. After requesting to speak with a manager, I was told we would be seated in 30 minutes; however, we were not seated until 10:30 p.m.
This review is not a reflection of our server, JC, or his team. JC provided excellent service and made every effort to improve our experience, which we sincerely appreciate. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the overall handling of the evening were unacceptable.
We ordered our usual ribeye, cooked medium, with au gratin potatoes, among other items. The steak we received was dry, overcooked, and clearly not a ribeye. The potatoes were raw and inedible not baked. When we brought this to JC’s attention, he kindly attempted to correct the situation, but we were told that the kitchen no longer had ribeye steaks or au gratin potatoes available. As a result, we essentially went without dinner.
JC brought out a birthday dessert for my husband, which was thoughtful, but given the circumstances, I believe the restaurant should have taken responsibility for the entire bill. While we were not charged for the steak or potatoes, the overall experience was unacceptable for what should have been a special celebration.
Most disappointing of all, the manager never returned to our table to apologize or acknowledge the situation. After nearly two decades of loyalty to SW, this experience left us deeply dissatisfied and unlikely to return.
Thank you again to JC for his outstanding professionalism and effort. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability from management and the poor quality of food completely ruined what should have been a memorable evening.
