  Amazing! Got an order to go and it was just as tasty at home. One of the better sushi restaurants I’ve been to in phoenix. I love that they have real wasabi too! Highly reccomend the salmon nigiri with it.

  First time here and we had a great time. The process is to order on line or at the counter via a self-ordering iPad. We had some questions and the manger provided helpful details about the Sushi and Wasabi. There is a small up-charge for Real Wasabi (I've never seen this before in Phoenix) and it is well worth it. It tasted like the Wasabi I had in Japan. The Poke bowl was excellent and fresh and portion large enough to share, alone with a sushi roll. We will be back often!

  The level of hospitality is incredible! What truly set this place apart was the care and concern they showed for our safety. While we were dining, a suspicious person began pacing around the area. The staff immediately took notice, kept a close eye on the situation, and discreetly called the police to ensure everything remained safe. One of them even stayed nearby, visibly ready to step in if needed. He also offered to personally walk a take out order to a customer’s car so that they could remain safe. You don’t expect that kind of protective attention when you’re just grabbing dinner. t really showed how much they care about their guests. And then there’s the sushi! OMG absolutely incredible. Every piece was fresh, beautifully prepared, and delicious. You can tell they take serious pride in the quality of their food. This place is more than just a great sushi restaurant, it’s a business run by people who genuinely care. We felt safe, welcome, and well-fed. Can’t recommend them enough!

  Incredible sushi that rivals any high end place that I’ve been to, but with a hole in the wall vibe. This place used to be the best kept secret but word is out and it’s well known how good Sushi Friend is. Is worth going out of your way so if you haven’t been here yet, make the time to do so

  This little gem of a place is legit. We went for the first time over the weekend. We were not really sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Do yourself a favor and look at the menu online before you get there, once you enter place your order at a kiosk. If you’re not familiar with all the bowls, rolls, sashimi, and Nigiri, it can be kind of confusing. Once you place your order go to the dining room and wait for your name to be called or they may bring it out to you. There are utensils, napkins, chopsticks, a water dispenser for your water. They also have a selection of Japanese beer sake, green tea, and a cooler which after you pay for it, you just help yourself. Everything is self Service but the sushi and sashimi is so fresh and delicious. The young man who I presumed is the owner is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. They have an app you can order from for pick up orders. Highly recommend the Toromigo roll it was sooo good! There is parking in the back of the building as the parking in the front is limited. Can’t wait to go back! 😋
