- ZZZarley ZarembaOct 19, 20252.0The room and bed were nice enough. As was the place, and the location next to the Starbucks was good. I was happy with the cleanliness of the bed and for the most part the cleanliness of everything else, but the place has a major problem with Elder Boxbugs. We killed or threw out of the room at least 20 of them, and I'm sure there were at least twice that number still in the room. I also saw through the windows in the other rooms plenty of the bugs there too. Otherwise I might have ashed for a different room but I didn't think it would help. Thankfully they aren't harmful to people, nor are they looking to do more than hide from the cold, but its just far too many of them. My fiancee stepped on two with her bare feet by accident, when she went to the washroom. This place needs to reseal their windows and doors and whatnot and try some serious pest control.

However when we went into our room, we discovered hair all over the bed sheets. We called the front desk and were moved promptly to a new room (which we appreciated and the front desk staff did apologize). However our new room wasn't much better, it wasn't sparkling clean and the bathroom needed some repairs. The exterior hallways were lined with dead bugs and overall we just couldn't wait to leave in the morning. Won't be staying here again: to management, please make sure your rooms are clean before having guests enter or at least offer a refund or lower the room price for poor service.
- JEJeffrey EvesOct 13, 20255.0Booked my son's hockey team for two nights here for a hockey tournament from 10-12 October 2025. The hotel was the only hotel in Salmon Arm able to take our team as all others were booked. The hotel is on the west side of Salmon Arm on a the Trans-Canada with easy and close access to big box stores (Wal-Mart, No Frill's) restaurants (Pizza Hut, Mr Mike's) and the like. They also had an agreement with the Mr Mike's Restaurant where hotel guests received 10% off on their entire bill. I would personally like to thank the staff who were very accommodating to our team. A special shout out to Liza in the breakfast room who opened up 30 minutes early Saturday morning so our kids could eat a meal before an early morning start.
- JMjoyce miltonOct 9, 20255.0Wonderful staff, clean and comfortable, quiet, good access and parking. Breakfast room is very welcoming, and hot food is hot and well stocked. We left something critical behind & they called immediately so we could retrieve it.
- SCSuzanne CummingsOct 9, 20255.0Great place! First off, the building is solid - nothing squeaks. The way the building is situated minimizes traffic noise. There are good restaurants close by. Friendly staff. They have a great continental breakfast. Just a solid 10/10 would recommend.
