Absolutely an amazing stay. Easy to get to, well lit parking lot. The lovely lady (I wish I could remember her name) at the reception desk is the literal definition of customer service and charm. The lobby is clean, well lit and charming with good lighting as well. The breakfast area has modern but marching decor/furniture and is CLEAN. The hallways are clean, easy to navigate and quiet. Once we opened the door to our extremely spacious room (with a king size bed and full size sofa), you could tell once more how proud the team is here of their hotel. The door opens and closes quietly and smoothly - no loud kerchunk or slam when it closes either. Clean, crisp sheets, lovely ambience with plenty of lighting (I LOVE the light fixtures they have on the wall), no stains in the bathroom sink, toilet or tub. No squeaky, loud bathroom as it's a sliding barn door 😍. The bed was firm but comfortable, with plenty of soft pillows. The ac ran smoothly and quietly - I never noticed when it turned on or off because it was so quiet. To say I slept like a rock is a massive understatement. To sum it all up, it was such an amazing stay and so well kept that I have saved it as a favorite on my Google maps (which I only do for a very few select things) for future trips to/from NC and already shared it with my NC family for when they travel. You are getting far more than just a place to sleep here. To the owner/manager: you, your team and your hotel are amazing and should be extremely proud of the outstanding service you are providing to us road weary travelers. Thank you 💕

Lemme tell y'all about the SureStay in Tuscaloosa. As soon as we walked in we were met by Genesis, an amazing young lady who is personable, courteous, helpful, and the epitome of professional. She answered all of our questions, and made the check in process a breeze. Now, for the room. First, you can't beat the price. The value was probably the best bang for the buck of any room I've ever stayed in. Secondly, this room was clean. No loose hairs in the tub/shower area, room smelled clean, linens were clean and stain free. Same with the carpet. And for the first time in a very long time there was a couch I wasn't worried about sitting on. Overall, I've never stayed in a cleaner room. Which is saying something as my job has taken me all over the country, and I've stayed in A LOT of hotels over the years. Finally, there was the check out. Huey is the absolute man. Nothing better than seeing a smiling face first thing in the morning. And he was just as good as Ms. Genesis was. Overall, they made us feel like we were at home, even away from home. I'll never hesitate to stay here in the future. This is the kind of experience that makes it worth it to go out of your way to stay here over the competition.

The hotel management was very nice and accommodating. We stayed a little over a week. But , the breakfast was very bad, the food wasn't labeled FDA you have to labeled food because of food allergies people may have. I had to ask multiple times was the sausage turkey or pork. One time I asked a female at the desk, she said she didn't know what it was. They ran out of eggs and muffins and didn't replace them. The grilled potatoes the bigger pieces were not done. One morning a guest came down and started eating right over the buffet and even used a buffet plate. The front desk lady had to tell him sir please dont use that. She didn't have gloves on or anything. My husband is allergic to turkey , we didn't know until after 3 days that the breakfast sausage was turkey. The couple next door fought two nights straight he even pushed her out of the room.. nothing was done.. other than that the room was big and nice carpet a little dirty , but room was nice and clean bathroom.

Great service and location! The only thing is the room I stayed in smelled mildewy and the bathroom smelled like urine. The couch in our suite had some questionable stains on it as well. But I understand it’s a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for!

I stayed at SureStay by Best Western to catch an Alabama home game, and it was the perfect choice for the weekend! The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access both downtown Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama campus. It’s just close enough to the action of the game but far enough away to avoid all the hustle and bustle, giving us a quiet, peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Despite the hotel being fully booked for the weekend, it was surprisingly quiet—a big plus! The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and always had a smile on their faces. I asked a ton of questions about local food spots and the shuttle service to the game, and they were more than happy to help, providing great recommendations and details on how to park and ride without having to walk miles to the stadium. Our room was neat, clean, and comfortable, and I especially loved the biscuits and gravy during breakfast—nothing beats a warm Southern breakfast before a game! The affordability of the hotel is another big win, especially when comparing it to other hotels in the area that charge the same price but don’t match the level of cleanliness and hospitality at SureStay. Next time I’m in town for a home game, I’ll definitely be staying here—unless it’s already booked out, which is likely! Roll Tide!
