  I really liked the room, the area, and everything about my stay. The breakfast was absolutely good, and the hot coffee was just the way I like it. The front desk guy was very welcoming and made the check-in smooth. Overall, a great experience!

  Absolutely Amazing Stay at SureStay! From the moment I walked into the SureStay at 2633 NE 43rd St, I was blown away. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and made check-in effortless — they truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. A special shoutout to Tarun, who was incredibly helpful and kind throughout my stay. He took care of all my needs with professionalism and warmth, making me feel like a truly valued guest. The room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly spacious, with a bed so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The entire property was peaceful, well-kept, and clearly maintained with care — you can tell the management takes real pride in keeping everything clean and updated. Breakfast was fresh and filling — far better than most places in this price range — and the coffee was hot and strong, just how I like it. I also loved how conveniently located this hotel is — just a short drive from downtown Kansas City, close to great restaurants, gas stations, and highway access. Whether you’re passing through or staying a few days, this place has everything you need for a relaxing, stress-free visit. Huge thanks to Tarun and the entire staff for making my stay so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this SureStay to friends and family. It’s truly a hidden gem in Kansas City!

  As soon as I walked into the lobby I wanted to leave. There was a bad smell. It smelled dirty. I had already pre booked the hotel and didn’t want to loose my deposit, so I gave it a chance. I went to my room. The place is gross, old, run down and dirty - not visibly dirty but clean places don’t stink and I didn’t stick around to inspect. The room smelled so bad I started to gag. It was a mix between mold, musty old carpet and vomit. It was an IMMEDIATE NO! I booked a new hotel and got out of there within 10 minutes of arriving. I’d rather loose the $200 I spent on that reservation than sleep there. You couldn’t pay me to sleep there!! Some of us have standards.

  We reserved a room for October 23rd because our daughter was scheduled for surgery on October 24th. The surgery has been rescheduled and we didn't need the room so we called as soon as we found out and knew we wouldn't need the room yet. We don't have info on new date so we couldn't reschedule the room. We were charged a $50 cancel fee even though its the day before. We will need lodging at times but it won't be at this motel. Enjoy your $50.

  Rough area. Dont bring kids. Homeless sleep out in front trying to sell meth to anyone who is outside. Fights going on from homeless people. Pool has been closed for years we were told. Dont know why its on there booking site. Towels are all stained and have holes in them. Rooms are super out dated and seem like your in some 3rd world country prison. Small TV. Breakfast is a waffle maker and some gross hard breakfast burrito and some muffins. Very basic. There is no extra care given at this motel and it shows. Soda machines are out of soda. Not kept up. Just a couple young men running this with no care to property.
