  This is best value hotel in the area. Expect basic amenities and you will hear the highway at night but it's not very intrusive. Rooms are in decent shape. Breakfast is very basic which is completely justified by the price. If you are traveling through the area with kids and you are looking for a reasonably priced safe overnight accommodation this place will work.

  I needed affordable lodging halfway between Columbus and Detroit, and this was perfect! As others have noted, the exterior could use some sprucing up, but the room was very clean and well equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. I mentioned I was leaving earlier than breakfast, and they were sure to have coffee ready for me. Also, I had some confusion with the AC, and they were responsive and helped me quickly. It's less than 2 miles from the restaurants downtown. This is not a "five star hotel" in the true sense, but it's a safe, friendly, and affordable place to spend the night.

  I’ll be honest, when I arrived at this hotel (SureStay by Best Western) I thought what in the world did I get myself into. The outside was not your typical grand entry way building. The entrance was just a door with a very small service desk area. I remember seeing a coffee pot but nothing more. The gentleman that greeted me was very nice and even asked me what brought me to the area. He explained everything clearly! I went to my room as he directed and I was pleasantly surprised to see such a beautiful double queen room. Everything looked and felt updated! I would definitely stay at this hotel again! Thank you SureStay, a job well done!

  Guy behind counter at check in was very nice and professional. Looks like they tried taking an old hotel and updating it. They did an ok job but lots of touchups could be done to make this place stand out. Room 134, It was a clean room except for the lights above the sink. They had tons of caked on dust/dirt all over them. Light next to bed had cobwebs all over it. The lack of caulking around the tub could cause issues down the road so that should be addressed soon. They need to fire whomever the painter was. Drips of paint everywhere really makes this place look bad. The TV in my room needs to be replaced. The top of the screen was to dark and the bottom is bright. Hurt my eyes trying to watch so I just turned it off during my stay. The rooms need to be sound proofed. Everything was extremely loud(the traffic outside, people in next room, walking outside my door), flushing of toilet in next room, you could hear everything. I was here for two nights and no one ever came in to clean room. Was told breakfast started at 7am all they had were a couple bagels sitting out and coffee. Asked for decaf coffee and they didn’t have any because it’s in the room but it’s not, no juices, nothing else. Poor excuse for a breakfast. Will I stay again, No.
