I must say clean comfortable good location.within walking distance to a few restaurants dollar tree right next store.on the other hand service is not the best.the front attendant found it more important to be on the phone on a personal call than take care of customer was shewed away trying to ask a question.also bring your own toiletries no soap or shampoo anywhere and no way to ask.waa assured on check in a great breakfast that wasn't accurate.coffee machine down only had a jug of coffee.had a great pancake machine I like but also out of order like coffee machine.you have to settle for stale begals and toast a few tiny muffins corn flakes and sunny d no real breakfast for anyone nothing hot.if you have kids nothing there for them. final thoughts ok hotel but no real amenities like boy scouts come prepared.to the owner's mangers train staff to be more attentive to customers not the phone. another quick not watch billing I checked out a week ago and my charge just came in a week later so mismanaged

Spotlessly clean, quiet and comfy. I'll look for a Sure Stay where ever I travel.
Hey Guest, I understand youre looking for a budget Hotel and others hotel might be more expensive but maybe your car is cleaner than this place.
If you're gomfortable with poor service, rude staff and dirty rooms. This is the place for you.
I'm not sure why Best Western defided to sponsor this hotel. Tragic.
Alicia takes one star out from the 2 thag this place has. Zero hospitality skills.

TRAVELLER BEWARE!!! I did not stay at this hotel Friday night Nov. 5, 2021. I had asked for a Non- smoking room and when my wife and I got to the room after I had paid by credit card it smelled of cigarette smoke big time. The lady at the front desk offered to put my wife and I in another room, but we decided to spend the night at another motel nearby. Really, not a problem there.
The real problem was this. I had a $64.99 reduced rate coupon for 1-4 people/ night from a coupon book for the State of Georgia. There are State and City taxes of 11% and a $5.00 State fee. I found this out several weeks later after talking to a Mr. Alan Allen (the owner/ manager (?) of the Surestay Motel by Best Western). When you do the math that comes to $77.14.
Unfortunately, the lady at the front desk charged me $87.00 and change. I knew this was NOT right. She claimed that "every body complains about the high taxes here". One elderly lady before me also had the same coupon I had and she was also charged $87.00 and change. She paid in cash and had to go back to her car to get the extra $10.00 or so. for the "tax". This sort of thing really ticks me off.
After speaking with Mr Allen several weeks later he had told me over the phone that the regular rate for the room is $74.00 or $74.99. Now, the $87.00 and change amount is correct.
The problem I have is that if clients come in with a reduced rate coupon, why is that not adjusted for the tax on the coupon rate in your accounting system, (if this indeed is an honest mistake), rather than to keep ripping off the public? Thank you for your time and airing my viewpoint.
