  We recently needed to cancel our policy due to our car being out of commission. I was complimentary in the email requesting cancellation and said we’d return for business. He did the cancellation the next business day after I emailed but 2 days later our policy was still showing as active. He said it was because he had to email it to them and it wouldn’t be immediate. Possibly the truth but I don’t know. But what upset me the most was how cold and callous the replies from him were and he even put a word in all caps. No thank yous like previously or happy that we’d return to him when we get our new car. Not how I expected him to be after 6 years with his agency. Now we won’t be returning to this agency. I realize everything is tough in this country right now but a little kindness goes a long way.
