  Steer clear from purchasing from Ashton Woods Homes!! Here are a few reasons why: They give you cheap appliances with a 1 year warranty. Our whirlpool dishwasher broke down in 18 months 😡 and expense that shouldn't be happening so soon after you moved in to your newly built home! You are also unable to use the self clean on the ovens because the heat pressure shatters the door glass and then it runs down to the other oven!!! Crap appliances and yet our house is VERY EXPENSIVE!!! The flooring tiles and shower flooring they do not seal it, they leave that for you to do is what they "claimed" they told us 🤦‍♀️ You spend extra on a beautiful tile bathroom floor and then get pebble flooring in your shower which was pricey all for them NOT to seal it which causes mildew and mold to grow on it all the time 😡 The masonry workers on the fireplace using the Texas Mix failed to distribute the variety of colored stone throughout and it looks stupid on the bottom half with lots of blonde stone and bo other colors!! Something the builders refused to change after they had finished!! The masonry outside looks bad on several areas that the paper they place between the bricks and yet, they leave it looking like cracks everywhere!! Crappy workmanship! The construction workers screwed up the placement of our light switch location in the bathroom and you have to reach over the hand towel to turn it off and on!! Something they would not fix after it was done incorrectly!!!
