  We booked a private charter with Erich to honor my father-in-law’s memory, and from the very first moment of arranging the trip, he was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. He made the entire process effortless during a very emotional time for our family. On the water, his compassion continued to shine. He helped create a peaceful and meaningful atmosphere for our memorial ceremony and treated the moment with great respect. Beyond that, he is exceptionally knowledgeable about the local wildlife and ecosystem. He guided us through the mangroves, shared fascinating information, and even took us to see dolphins, which was such a beautiful and uplifting experience on a day that meant so much to us. What could have been a difficult day was made truly beautiful, memorable, and healing thanks to Captain Erich. We are so grateful and would highly recommend him to anyone, not just for his expertise, but for the genuine care he shows his guests.

  Fabulous day on the water with Sun Surfing Charters! Captain Erich brought me and my family (adults and teenager) out for an incredible trip through Wiggins Pass and the backwaters of Naples. We were hoping to see dolphins. And he did not disappoint! One swam right alongside us through the channel, which was such a treat. We also spotted a beautiful Great Blue Heron, several large iguanas (one was enormous!) and lots of people out enjoying the water. Oh we saw a gator too! The scenery was stunning. It was a mix of beautiful waterfront homes, winding canals, and untouched natural landscapes that show off the best of Naples. It was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Captain Erich was knowledgeable, funny, and made the experience fun and memorable for all of us. It was such a great way for my family to spend the day together, make memories, and enjoy Southwest Florida from the water. And my teenage daughter actually had fun. 😅 Highly recommend!
