We came up on a clear day which made this food worth it. However, the worst meal I think I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Maybe it was because it was their last weekend or idk. I got pasta i wasn’t able to even take more than two bites. Chicken was inedible so gross. My kids didn’t touch their Mac n cheese that was just penne noodles with some cheese sauce on them. Expected prices to be high so that wasn’t the problem it was the fact the food was really THAT bad. Maybe we got the wrong things. I’d recommend bringing your own food and having picnic - I thought the outdoor tables were part of the restaurant they aren’t so bring your own food and eat at the tables! Beautiful atmosphere and I’d do gondola again any day just skip the summit house

DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED!!!! They say on THEIR OWN website that dogs are allowed on the patio of the restaurant which for any sane person you think you can eat on the patio but you CANT!!!! They don’t allow food on the patio so if you’re coming here with you dog hoping to have lunch, you’re gonna waste your time. This is the kind of information that MUST be on the website, instead of saying “dogs are allowed on the patio” it should say “dogs are allowed on the patio but food isn’t”. Thank you so much for nothing!!!!

Atmosphere was awesome on top of the mountain such a scenic view, food was very pricy and was very mediocre for the high price point, service was decent. Soda machine was "broken", restaurant has very wierd hours and is only open for a couple of hours and one day per week so its pretty crowded. Needs some work because you ride all the way up the mountain and have a very average meal. needs to be better

The views are great and the hostess was nice, but unless you get there very early plan on waiting an hour+ to get a table on a weekend. The hostess herself literally said “I’d recommend going back down to the Snorting Elk for better food rather than waiting.” We would have gladly put our names on a waitlist but they said they didn’t do that- until they did. A line started to form and then they randomly started a list. What about the people that tried for a table before and were told they couldn’t be on a waitlist?! Again gorgeous views and staff seemed nice, but I don’t get how they don’t have a better system for getting people in. It’s also a bit sad when your own staff direct people to another business because the foods not worth waiting for.
