solid stretch.. felt very loose afterwards
I’m a fan of StretchLab after trying them out at a Northern Virginia location before I moved to Honolulu. I know that once you get on their radar, your local StretchLab will call and email you frequently to push their memberships and packages. However, the health benefits of assisted stretching outweighs the inconvenience of a few calls and emails.
This location in Kaka’ako, however, has the most annoying sales strategy ever. Ever since my first visit, I’ve been getting text messages and phone calls from the manager several times a week. In fact, I got a call on a Sunday followed by a text message the following week. The calls and text messages are now getting intrusive.
This prompted me to look into StretchLab’s sales strategy, and I learned that they make their money from selling packages and memberships. They are known to reprimand store managers who do not meet sales quotas, hence the super aggressive sales calls and text messages.
I had a wonderful experience at my first appointment at this location, and I was looking forward to my next visit. However, the pushy sales tactics are making me reconsider whether I want to spend my money here.
Jayden was very helpful during my session. She is very knowledgeable in her field and is very personable and friendly. She answered all the questions I had. I walked out feeling better and I learned a lot! The studio is also very new and clean as well.

Overpriced and Unfair Refund Policy
My experience at StretchLab on the island was frustrating and felt like a scam. The initial session was overpriced for basic assisted stretching—something I could do at home on a yoga mat for free. Right after, they pressured me into buying a 4-class pack for hundreds of dollars. With a busy schedule, I only managed to attend two classes, but when I asked for a refund for the unused sessions, the manager, Bri, was dismissive. She said, “There’s nothing I can do about it” and cited “per policy,” refusing to refund the two unused classes. This left me out hundreds of dollars for services I couldn’t use. Their inflexible, predatory approach screams pyramid scheme. Save your money and avoid StretchLab—opt for free stretching routines or more customer-friendly wellness options.
