I absolutely love the storage space, the neighborhood and the front desk man who helped me ( I forgot his name, shucks! ) I will update this with his name. It's a very clean, easy to access, and reasonably priced storage space. I am very happy with this lease agreement! Thank you so much, Michelle C. (His name is John, and he's great!) ________________________________________________________________________ ****Update (July 7, 2018) 10 months in. (5 Stars reduced to 1 for utter inconvenience and trickery) Unfortunately, all that glitters isn't gold. While this is a convenient, clean, and easily accessible Storage facility with a pleasant front desk employee - the rate increases are ridiculous. I would urge Storage Post Yorktown's higher ups to be more transparent with their new renters moving in. Let us know that the plan is to move clients in low, then recoup that promotion as fast as possible with sudden increases less than 90 days in and every 90 days or so moving forward. The increases started coming in before 90 days hit or right at 90, and with no notice at all. They came a few days near the next bill date which makes it harder to move out before the next bill hits. The first increase was pretty high IMO, about $9 or $10 more. I felt suckered and scammed but took it like a champ the first time.... then they did it again. I moved out yesterday. I've used Storage units for years and I've never experienced this kind of increase pattern. Now I know what questions to ask before moving into a storage unit, thank you Storage Post. It was very inconvenient having to stop my work day and find a new rental in the blazing heat of July, but I did it. This place is close to perfect and that's the trap. I do not recommend storing a lot of boxes here unless you can get some transparent info about rate increases and when they will occur. Else risk having to move out suddenly or being stuck with frequent increases. I highly question the integrity of this company, their ethics, and switch and bait tactics. It would be nice to see more companies that recognize the value of straight business. Tricking grown folks is a thing of the past. This is an era of transparency, clarity, reviews, and expression. Get with the program.
