  Maintenance sucks Been waiting for broken dish washer to be fixed since months, when asked they replied saying does the sink work ? As now, I’m still waiting for maintenance people to come fix

  I wouldn’t recommend Stoneridge Apartments. My mom applied and met all the requirements, but her application was denied because the leasing manager said she was “confused.” That doesn’t sound like a real reason to deny someone housing. It felt personal — like the manager just didn’t want to approve her for whatever reason. The whole situation came off unprofessional and unfair. If you’re looking for a place that treats people respectfully and takes applications seriously, I’d look elsewhere.

  Absolutely do not waste your time or money with stoneridge, save yourself the headache. After living there for four years, I can tell you if you move in you'll get the pleasure of experiencing; the most incompetent people working at the leasing office- people who are not helpful, people who are condescending, people who will wrongly place AN EVICTION NOTICE on your door only for you to open it and see it's for a completely different apartment! They claim to give warnings before inspections, but there were multiple occasions where I was only notified AFTER they had already gone into my home. Random fees added onto your rent and then never giving you a straight answer when you're trying to figure out why the fees are there, never answering the phone, leaks in the ceiling that are just never addressed. I could go on forever, but the bottom line is there are COUNTLESS apartments in Gainesville, do yourself a favor and live literally anywhere else.

  I've decided to update my review based on current circumstances. Our A/C hasn't been working properly for some time and isn't cooling anymore. We're going a week with it 90°F inside. I've called the office multiple times, called the emergency after hour number with no response, and sent in multiple emergency maintenance requests. I've had regular, non-essential issues fixed faster. How is an actual emergency going DAYS without help? I have a small child under the age of 5 put at risk with this issue. This is unacceptable.

  I really do not recommend renting in this complex. I have been asking them to fix one of my bathtubs for more than a year, the air conditioning does not work and we have reached 94F° inside the apartment. The laundry damaged my clothes because they have old machines and only 4 working. But they always charge you punctually and want to take money for anything. The attention many times has been rude and besides that the gym sucks. Old machines and never cleaned.
