- DMDon MooreSep 12, 20255.0I have 10 massive Oak and maple trees that are 48 years old... I know that cuz I planted them. They were in desperate need of trimming to preserve the health of the trees and to get accumulated dead branches out of them. The dead branches were a safety hazard for people in the neighborhood. The Star Tree Service Team did a fantastic job in less than 4 hours. There are always on the spot decisions to make as the work is being done And there was no hesitation doing what I asked. The team leader had some suggestions on how much or how little to do to some of the trees to ensure their health. I took everyone of his suggestions. The cleanup was perfect... you could walk an acre of my yard and won't find a twig clump of sawdust. I budgeted $2,800 for the project and it came in at less than that even with work I added. I've used other tree services when I had a few rental homes. These are the guys you want to use.
- SSStacia SteinerAug 21, 20252.0My 90 year old aunt hired Star to remove some stumps, trim tree branches, and clean up her back yard on E. 33rd Street in March. The work they did was good but there was an area in the back corner they neglected to clean up. My aunt paid for the entire job but despite repeated attempts to get them back out to finish the job they lie and say they'll be out and then dont show up. As of today, August 23rd the job is unfinished. Also, the owner never answers his phone- it always go to voice mail so you cannot speak directly to him. Shame on you Star Tree Service for treating an elderly woman this way! PS I changed my review from 1 to 5 stars after Star Tree Service came out to my aunt's house and finished the job today. Thank you so much for taking care of this! PSS I just dropped my rating again to 2 stars. Yes they came out and cleaned the back corner, but they left the stump and charged her an additional $300 after she paid them $850 to do the entire job. She is 91 and on Social Security!! Have a heart..
