St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church is a large, blessed community. Our faith journey is a community experience, and we would be privileged to have you as a part of our parish family. We invite our community and members to educate themselves through Worship, Parish Life and various outreach opportunities.
Our Parish and School continues to grow our ministries, offerings and events. All that we do is directed toward building up the body of Christ through our parish mission to know and celebrate our Catholic Faith, Love God and our neighbor and Serve as disciples of Jesus Christ.
We are called by God to be conduits for our blessings in order to make a richer life for all. Stewardship of God’s gifts gives us purpose and makes us fully human.

How do I support St. Vincent de Paul
Prayer, Participation, Generosity: Making Commitments to the Lord
Stewardship is a commitment of mind and heart to the Lord; a way of life that needs constant renewal and transformation. Perhaps those who seek to make resolutions to be better stewards might find inspiration in one or more of the following examples:
Stewardship of Prayer: Resolve to strengthen your relationship with the Lord through prayer. Notice how often you pray and what hinders you from praying. If you are a beginner, commit to short, daily prayer times. Prayer form
Stewardship of Participation: Resolve to be a person of hospitality and mercy. Challenge yourself to perform two spiritual or corporal acts of mercy each month . Make time and space for others who enter your life. Be more aware of those times when a neighbor, co-worker, fellow parishioner or stranger, needs a moment of kindness, a little attention or an affirming gesture on your part. Resolve to serve your faith community in some way this year such as at liturgy, in the parish’s outreach or education and formation efforts
Stewardship of Generosity: Resolve to be generous with all our gifts (prayer, participation and generosity), not just the ones we choose. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus challenged us to give as it has been given to us. Aware of our tremendous blessings, we strive to give generously to support the building up of God’s kingdom. One way to do this is to reprioritize your financial goals to ensure that the Lord comes first in your spending.

How do I get my child baptized?
Baptisms are celebrated on the first and third Sunday of each month after the 9:00 AM Mass.
To present a child for baptism at St. Vincent de Paul, at least one parent is required to be a registered member of the parish community. Parish registration is required prior to scheduling the baptism. Both parents are encouraged to attend a Pre-Baptism session, and required for first babies and if it has been more than 5 years since they last attended. Pre-Baptism classes are typically held the first Monday of each month from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the Community room. Please call the Parish Office at 763-425-2210 to register for a class.
After both parents attend the Pre-Baptism session, baptisms can be scheduled by calling the Parish Office at 763-425-2210.
How do I receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation?
To enroll your child to receive the Sacrament of First Reconciliation in January 2025, you must attend one of the following First Reconciliation Parent Enrollment Meetings. You will also indicate your preference for your First Eucharist (Communion) date and time at this meeting. The U.S. Bishops require that children be prepared for the Sacrament of Reconciliation prior to being prepared for First Eucharist (Communion). Children must be in Grade 2 or above and enrolled in Faith Formation, St. Vincent de Paul School, or another Catholic school and have completed Grade 1 in Faith Formation or a Catholic school. These meetings are for parents only. Attendance at one of these meetings is required in order to enroll your child for the sacrament even if you have attended these meetings in the past for another child.
How do I submit a prayer request or request a Mass intention?
