  I'm not a fan of going to a restaurant where you have to cook your own food, and this place definitely reinforced my opinion. Our server wasn't very attentive to our needs and brought us the wrong food for the AYCE selection. They never had any rice available for the entirety of our meal. It was an experience that I don't feel the need to repeat.

  I ordered takeout from SSAMJANG Korean BBQ and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. About five minutes after the estimated pickup time, I asked the hostess for an update on my order. She said she would check with the kitchen but never got back to me. After several more minutes with no response, I asked again and was told she was still waiting. Eventually, I went to the back myself and another staff member explained that one last item was still being prepared and would take another 10 minutes, even though the rest of the food had already been packed and sitting in boxes. By the time I drove back to my hotel across the street and opened the containers, everything had gone cold and much of it was soggy from sitting in sealed boxes for so long. The Chicken Katsu, which is a go-to order for my wife, was also disappointing. The menu photo showed it served plain, but ours came drizzled with two sauces. The breading had turned soggy, and we didn’t care for one of the sauces at all. I was offered a $10 coupon for a future visit, but since we were traveling from out of town, that wasn’t helpful. Overall, the service, communication, and food quality all fell short.
