Well I walked in yesterday 11/11/25 about 1:30pm with my two young sons to look at large Gun safes and the only person in the store to acknowledge is was the security guard. 4-5 employees standing at the rear of the store looked at us then went back to BSing ignoring us and lost potential $12-1800 sale of a safe but as a customer we should have to track down sales people when we're the only people in the store besides employees. Everett store just lost my business and that sucks as they're closer. Cool animal mounts nice products in the store.

Went in for a ammo purchase. The guy working behind the counter was really knowledgeable and very helpful. With gun shops getting run outta town. I'm glad these guys are still offering such good service.

I bought a Vortex scope online and went to the Everett store to pick it up. It was supposed to be brand new, but the box had clearly been opened and the scope showed signs of use, including visible scratches. The manager said it was most likely a demo unit, which in my opinion is unacceptable to sell as new. I was told I could return it, but since there wasn’t another one in stock, they suggested I contact Vortex because of their lifetime warranty. That completely misses the point. When you buy something new, it should come sealed and unused, not previously handled or displayed.
As for the firearms department, it’s always chaotic. There’s usually a long line, and it seems like only one lady is running back and forth trying to help everyone while also training new employees. She’s doing her best and deserves credit, but the store clearly needs more support and better organization in that area.

Bought 3 guns from here. Every experience is worst than the last. Swore i wouldn't come back in. But found a good deal on 2 guns. So gave em one more chance. I was there almost an hour waiting in line. The staff has 0 work ethic. Slow as snails. Wants to chit chat and tell stories. 3 of them standing in the front of the store bsing. Ive never seen a gun shop ran slower than this. Average 15 minutes per customer just to pick up a firearm. Having 1 person run the counter when they couldn't care less about turn around is no way to run a buisness that's an hour of my life I'll never get back. SHOULD have just paid the extra 29 dollars and went to a real gun shop. The fact this issue has gone on for 5 years and management hasn't done anything to fix it blows my mind.

I visited Sportsman's Warehouse in Everett last week and had a mostly positive experience. The store is well-stocked, and I found a sleeping bag at a reasonable price. The cashier was kind and professional, which added warmth to the transaction. I genuinely liked the place and would have gladly returned.
However, one unsettling moment changed that. While I was in the cashier line, a large security guard stared at me with an intensity that felt aggressive. He kept his lock fixed on me for an uncomfortably long time, and it stirred feelings of fear and unease. I don’t know what prompted it, but it was enough to make me decide not to come back.
I give the store 4 stars for its products and service, but I won’t be returning.
