Open since 2014, Sportsman’s Warehouse in Rancho Cordova, CA is near Folsom Lake, American River, El Dorado National Forest, and Tahoe National Forest. National gunsmithing services are now available! If you like hunting, we’re here to get you all set up with everything you need. Popular pursuits include wild turkey, black bear, wild boar, upland game birds, black tail and mule deer. If you’re into waterfowl, we’re home to the Pacific Flyway, the largest flyway in North America. If fishing is more your speed, we have all of your tackle to catch the legal limit. Freshwater catches include salmon, sturgeon, steelhead, trout (cutbow, cutthroat, rainbow, brook, brown), and bass (smallmouth, largemouth, spotted, striped). We also carry plenty of supplies for kayaking, rafting, floating, backpacking, camping, or hiking the High Sierra Nevada Range. Our shop services are available to spool reels, mount and boresight rifle scopes, gun cleaning, cut arrows, tune bows in our 12-yard archery lane, and anything covered by your Firearm Service Plan. No matter the weather or time of year, we’ve got the seasonal accessories to fit your outdoor adventure. While you’re in the area, be sure to check out local events like the International Sportsman’s Expo (ISE Show), State Fair, and Capital Airshow.

I brought in my disabled partner who has issues taking care of herself and her appearance and Im sure its because of this that I was denied a product exchange for a larger size because she went out of her way to make up a reason saying it smelled like smoke. Not possible as I dont smoke and only tried it on briefly and put it back in the bag. This approach did not happen until she got a look at my partner and looked at her strangely for a pause. Very poor customer service on the part of the manager who's name is Christina castell
- CBCurtis BrownOct 17, 20251.0I stood in line ready to buy at the gun counter, only to be completely ignored while the staff helped someone who walked in after me. No greeting, no acknowledgment—just skipped over like I wasn’t even there. I left and went to Ammo Depot instead, where the service was excellent and I was treated with respect. Won’t be coming back here. After reading a few other reviews this seems to be a reoccurring theme so I guess the owner is ok with losing money. Especially thinking about the people who have had horrible service but don’t waste time to leave reviews. I will admit that there was a nice lady at the register up front that greeted me on my way out.
- RFR FSep 18, 20251.01 star just because the security and younger dude who works the register are cool and actually greet and say bye. That's all they get though, the gun counter staff (mainly the short little guy with glasses who never wears his name tag) are horrible. the worst customer service. I work with the public so i understand to leave my personal problems at the door and try and give the best service i can, but that dude is terrible. Clearly doesn't enjoy his job and must have some problems in his personal life. He is rude to customers and talks smack on other Sportsman locations, especially the Elk Grove location which is a way better location because they have gun staff that seem they actually enjoy what they do and treat people respectfully. Ill keep my business to the EG location and never waste my energy at the rancho location again because of him. Gabe at the gun counter was okay though, he seemed kinda upset with life too but at least he was respectful.

I bought a new lem (lame) vacuum sealer not even 6 months ago and granted it's under warranty and I can send it back but that doesn't help me when I have 50 pounds of fresh kill in my kitchen that I'm trying to seal up. So I didn't have a choice to buy a new one. Ya, so they made another sale but they turned a customer for life into an angry consumer:(.
