Quiet location, well stocked. Employees usually have pleasant attitudes. A little out of my way but worth the trip.

It was an average experience buying a firearm at the Sportsmans Warehouse in Heber. The employees certainly were not rude, however they were untrained and indifferent about the customer experience (at least in my case). They had very little gun knowledge also. I had researched the gun I wanted for weeks and knew a lot about it. I had to tell the employee at the gun counter three times what the brand and model number was. He seemed confused and indifferent but finally produced one from the back room. I was eager to buy a holster and told him about Sportsmans "holster finder" program, so I asked him to help me find one. He was unwilling to help me. Instead, he just pointed to the holster section of the store and said that I could look over there. I asked him again if he could help me find a holster and again he said, "Just look over there for one." I'm used to gun counter employees being informed enthusiasts in the firearm world. I have nothing against this store or its employees but just had a mediocre experience. But at least I'm excited about my new purchase.

My wife was looking for a new rifle. Sportsman‘s warehouse in Heber city had a 300 PRC that was to her liking. So I went in there with the 300 wetherby mag I was two years old had a night force scope on it. The scope alone was 2200 brand new. The gun was 1100 brand new and they offered me $500 for a trade-in so I grabbed the gun walked out. The door went all the way down to the valley. To Cabela’s They offered me 900 for the gun without the scope. If the scope stayed on the gun it was 1300. I saved the scope went and bought. A $22 hundred fierce arms 300 PRC with $1000 Leopold Scope with accessories I spent $6500 at Cabela’s tonight just because Heber don’t know what they’re doing. That was my local store. I will never shop there again and I will spread the word.!!! And I purchased a credit card. I will be cutting that thing in the pieces. The store manager was nice, but just didn’t know what to say. Adios sportsman‘s warehouse.
