Cool place filled with all sort of cool stuff and equipment. The staff is super friendly and I really willing to help and give advice. They sell maps here and permits, too. Plenty of parking and they have public restrooms, too. They sell bait and it looks like there’s quite a wide variety. Five stars.

I've never used another outfitter and I don't need to. We've been going to Spirit of the Wilderness to get our BWCA permit and canoe for years and they are the best. They are family owned and incredibly helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and have a great bunkhouse.

The people are wonderful (pleasant and helpful). The bunk house was very nice as well.
