  Visited this place on Diwali event. The food was amazing! Too good that we forgot to take the picture when food just came out 😂 we already enjoyed halfway thru. Yall can just look how clean my husband’s plate is 😂😂

  Every time I come here I find something else to love about the menu. This time it was the Butter Momo. OMG so good! The texture of the fried dumpling topped off with their yummy butter sauce… mouthwatering! We also got the Butter Chicken with garlic naan, my fave, along with their Chicken Chow Main- medium heat which was a little too spicy for my taste but still had great flavor. Voted Best of Denton Indian food. Go see why!

  Pregnancy cravings are real! Hear me out - Spicy Chowk hits the spot every time! I’ve ordered food from here at minimum a dozen times during my pregnancy and I’m currently six months pregnant. My regular order has become samosa (the sauces are so good!), butter chicken (add extra chicken), Chowk ko special naan and bullet naan. Though I usually have leftovers after ordering this, I really don’t mind because the food holds up the next day. The portions are great! I do suggest ordering a few different dishes to share family style so you can taste their variety. It’s obvious the meat here is marinated well and it’s always cooked to perfect tenderness. I am always impressed when I deviate from my favorites to order something new. Everything we have tried from here is delicious!

  We went to Spicy Chowk for the first time, and we really liked the place. The food was very good. Portions were fairly large. The food was well spiced and had plenty of the best ingredients. My wife is a vegetarian and there was a LOT of vegetarian options for her. We found the cost of the food to be reasonable overall. I had a beer. I thought the price of it was too high but ... I knew the price before I ordered it so I have no one to blame but myself. The place is clean and well decorated. We had no problem having a nice talk during our visits. Quiet but you still feel you can talk privately. The check out process took longer than I would have liked. We asked for our check and waited, waited. Finally, I got up and went to the counter to pay. I think it was because it is a new restaurant and they didn't have enough servers available. Our service was nice and knowledgeable, just had too much to do. Overall, we will happily go back. If they fix a few things, we'd make this a favorite.

  Literally everything I've had here is outstanding, the service has always been great and when I go with new people the staff is always very friendly and helpful informing them what everything is like. I went on my birthday too and they made it special, I appreciate their effort. This's better than any Indian or Nepalese restaurant I've been to in DFW and not extremely overpriced. Actually affordable. If I lived in Denton still I would be back to eating here at least 1-2 times a week, cannot recommend this enough. Great music this time as well, I can't remember if this's always been the music. I currently am stuck on the vegetable pakora, momo 555 and garlic naan.
