Spartan Tactical is a nationally recognized professional firearms training company, based out of Downers Grove, Illinois and is one of the most respected training companies in the firearms training industry with over 30 years of proud history and professional experience.
Our professional grade certification level training programs specialize in the use of firearms for personal protection, concealed carry, home defense and armed professional applications.
We screen all of our students for our training programs, looking for responsible people that are serious about learning real-world tactics and techniques on how to use firearms for personal defense applications.
We specialize in enhancing and refining existing skill-sets, diagnostically work with each student to identify, analyze and fix bad-habits and training scars and fill in the gaps with the skill-sets that have not been learned yet.

The experience STTG has becomes evident very quickly. Having never sought out this type of training before, that feeling of dealing with experienced professionals put me at ease. There was no ulterior agenda or attempts to sell anything; it was all about how defend yourself and your family, how to fight, and especially how to fight well with a gun. STTG trainers gave every student the attention they needed (a fair bit went to me). I came away from my course feeling more ready and definitely satisfied with STTG.

The live-fire portion felt purposeful, not just hours of wasting ammo and sending lead downrange. I’ve been shooting for quite a while and still came away having learned new things, which speaks to the quality of instruction. What stood out was how down-to-earth the instructors were; they interacted with the class like real people, joking and having fun; while still delivering vital information. I’ve been to other courses where the instructors felt more like salesmen pushing products or services, but that wasn’t the case here. I’m genuinely looking forward to taking more classes with this group.

They care that you walk away from this class having grasped all the concepts and ability to apply them in action. I felt comfortable with guns prior to heading into the class but not overly confident in my situational skills. I can now say, that my confidence is on another level. I’m not nieve to think a 3-day class can transform me into someone with years of experience. However, it leaves you levels up from the normal civilian and with the tools and exercises to continue to build your skills, speed, and efficiency. I will for sure be signing up future classes and highly recommend spartan tactical to anyone serious about self-improvement in all the various types of gun skills.
