  I never realized how amazing the experience of working with a contractor could be until I worked with Chris and Josh at Southpaw. My condo flooded in Helene and I worked with them for the renovation. There was no detail that they didn't attend to and with a smile, they were on time, detail oriented, CLEAN and organized. If i ever texted or emailed them, literally would hear back within an hour or so at the most. They use a fantastic website where they would upload pictures of what happened that day at the condo and it also held a calendar of when they expected things to be done. The entire time during the reno, i never had to wonder what they were working on, if something was done and not being there during the renovation - it was so great actually seeing pictures and videos of what was happening. I had originally wanted to work with the contractor my two neighbors partnered with and SO GLAD that didn't work out. Southpaw started my project weeks after they did and literally, to this day (9/5/25) - they still aren't done and their places look a mess. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to someone and would work with no one else in the future (prayers we don't need to - sorry Chris and Josh!). THANK YOU for taking one of the most stressful times in my life and making it into a really great experience!

  Southpaw (Chris, Danielle, Milos, Josh....the whole team!!!!) did an exceptional job restoring my home in Siesta Key, Florida, after the two devastating floods last year. Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication transformed a daunting nightmare into a remarkably smooth and successful restoration. They guided us through every step of the process, from initial assessment, immediate cleanup to ensure safety, and through to detailed estimates and meticulous scheduling. Communication was exceptional; I was always kept informed about the progress, with pictures on the BT app every day, and all our questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. This was a job spanning multiple large categories (flooring, drywall, plumbing, electric, framing) and a thousand small details. Their meticulous organization and tracking of every element were outstanding. Every detail, from the structural repairs to the finishing touches, was handled with precision and care. Intelligent and PRACTICAL financial decisions were made and expertly implemented. What truly sets Southpaw apart is their unwavering commitment to our satisfaction. Their dedication to perfection was evident, as they willingly revisited and refined aspects of the work—not because of errors, but to achieve an even higher standard. They were also incredibly responsive during an excetionally busy time....They went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the results, and their genuine care for our home and peace of mind (especially vital since we were not on site!) was evident throughout the entire project. If you are in Sarasota or Bradenton and need a reliable, high-quality construction company, whether for flood restoration or any major home repair, I wholeheartedly recommend Southpaw. They are experienced and well-connected in Sarasota and Bradenton and get things done efficiently and effectively. Thank you, Southpaw, for getting things back in great shape!

  Chris and Milos provide great communication and constant updates of progress throughout the project. They have a great eye for detail and craftsmanship. The construction completed was in a way as if it was their own condo. We highly recommend Southpaw in any construction project.

  As a practicing architect with experience in the construction industry, I highly recommend Southpaw Remodeling. I worked directly with Josh, who was responsive and hands on. He enjoyed a challenge, always taking the time to think things through and pose various solutions. Josh proactively identified problems and resolved potential issues. Contractors that are collaborative and willing to work closely with clients are essential for success. This can also be said of his subs. They were all professional, courteous, and neat. I am a perfectionist and Josh could tell. I never had to say anything. He always made things right. Most importantly, he, Danielle, and the entire Southpaw Family showed the upmost respect for my family and I look forward to our continued relationship. Josh came referred to me from our neighbors and it is with great pleasure that I refer Southpaw for your remodeling needs.

  Cannot say enough good comments of SouthPaw Remodelling. Chris and his team certainly pulled the rabbit out of the hat in accomplishing our project, what began as a bath remodel became a virtual whole house rebuild. The key is, it got completed, without issues and on budget. Chris has vast experience, is great to work with and has a team of talent to support him.
