- CWCrystal WhisnantSep 26, 20251.0We came for a tour and received 50.00 voucher for their on-site restaurant. We took our son because we were impressed with the tour and wanted his input. However, it was a terrible dining experience. One that tilted the scale against ever purchasing at Westgate. We were 1 of only 3 guests in the entire restaurant. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks..after waiting 15 for anyone to come to the table. We ordered and it took another 30 minutes for the food and fries were cold and warmed over. No refills on drinks until we asked. Finally we were ready to pay. After using a 50.00 food voucher, our bill for 2 burgers with fries and a BBQ plate and 2 teas and a water, was 44.50. Imagine..94.50 for that which included a 20% auto gratuity $14.50 because we used the voucher. 80.00 meal+14.50 tip for lunch. I asked to speak with manager. She was ready to remove the gratuity..until she found out we used a voucher for part of the meal. Then she basically was unable to do anything, but offer free dessert for our next visit..but there won't be one. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who thinks they may be getting a "free or discounted" meal.
