My friend and I stopped by Solar Slice and everything we tried was amazing! We got slices of Hot Honey and Meat Lovers, and both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. From the Halloween menu, we tried the Ghost Bread and S’mores Pizza — both were delicious (the s’mores one was a perfect sweet finish).
We were a little sad to miss the Halloween black bread garlic knots, because they looked incredible, but everything else totally made up for it.
The atmosphere was awesome — they’ve decorated for Halloween, which made it extra fun, and there are several pinball machines to play while you hang out.
Definitely a spot worth checking out if you love great pizza and a cool vibe

Let me tell you about this place here!! They the only, let me say it for the people in the back. They the only pizza joint that make calzones to perfection!!! Everyone else burn they calzones at the bottom. I told them I highly respect them for cooking they calzones so perfect that I can cut the bread with a plastic knife the bread was so soft and crispy. Y'all check out the calzones when y'all go. Pinballs was awesome and the atmosphere is awesome. They respect veterans. All my veteran partners please goto this spot to get you a calzone. They are awesome. Mad love and respect to the Solar slice pizza team. Hardworking, diligent, nice people, and great atmosphere for family. I pray and hope they get a larger establishment. Eventually I know they will outgrow that spot. Place inside is small but we loved every bit of it. SSP keep up the good work.... Y'all will see us again. Thanks for all you do. God bless y'all.

Look, it’s got 1,000 ratings for a 4.9. You don’t need to really read more, you know it’s deserved.
But if you are reading, their Graveyard S’mores Pizza is a lot of fun and I think the dough surprised me the most. Perfectly slightly sweet, great light chew. Probably could make for a solid frozen piece of pizza later to be honest.
The hot honey pepperoni pizza was just astonishingly perfect. Everything was balanced. Best I’ve ever had.
Spinach mushroom slice was also just perfectly balanced. They somehow kept the mushrooms from steaming under the cheese layer, so everything stays put and doesn’t slide everywhere. Great, fresh ingredients.
We will make the trek over here soon.
As someone that loves both pizza and pinball, this spot had my interest right away.
Pizza is dynamite and the sauce in particular stands out. Nice big slices too. The garlic knots are insane, absolute requisite side order. Definitely a bonus that they've got beer on tap too.
In cannot be overstated that the vibes in Solar Slice are immaculate. You know a spot with a giant TMNT mural covering an entire exterior wall is going to compliment their pizza with a great environment.
As soon as you walk in there's a line of pinball machines and arcade cabinets and an order counter that faces out toward them, the entrance, and wraps all the way around to the dining area, which is cool because you feel like the staff is very present with you while you're there.
Orders go in straight to a kiosk and come out quick. If you take umbrage with a casual pizza joint having order kiosks in 2025, you should probably stay home with a DiGiorno.
The first time my buddy and I went to this place we had a really great conversation with Trey. The SECOND time we went in the he greeted us BY NAME. Willing to bet anyone who walked in here and felt that the staff was lacking interaction probably dragged that bad energy in the door with them.
And to top everything off it's open super late, especially on weekends. Love being there past midnight with a slice and a roll of quarters.
Quickly become a regular spot for me, try to go at least every other week and looking forward to this becoming a staple of the area.

The garlic knots were swimming in greasy faux butter. Pizza slices were OK, not great. Slices are amply sized, but seemed to be a par-baked crust topped to order and reheated, not like the previous NY pizza place in this location which baked whole pies and reheated them by the slice. Subtle, but meaningful difference. The biggest issue was the lack of any staff interaction or help. Where do I get a cup for my sofa? Figure it out yourself. Need silverware? You’ll be hunting for a while (hint: literally the other side of the restaraunt). You order at a kiosk, put in your phone number and serve yourself both beverages and your meal when you get a txt that it’s ready. And yes, they ask for a tip at the self checkout screen after zero human interaction - less than you get from fast food. As others have noted, there is a surcharge for change to play the pinball machines. That’s just crazy, especially when you consider they factor the cost of change in the asked-for tip amount; you’ll get $4 in quarters for about $6 when the dust settles. If you want to play aging pinball machines amongst goth Gen Z’ers and eat just OK pizza, try this place right now before they’re out of business. Which will be soon.
