I moved in yesterday, and this is how my room and bathroom looked. I asked them to clean it because it was clearly not cleaned, but they told me, ‘Sorry, we can’t do anything. We already cleaned your room and bathroom. The floor also was not clean

So far not good and super disappointing! When we 1st looked they told us about how if the price reduced we would be able to get the lower price, so when I called in because I saw a lower price they were like did you sign paperwork stating that? Ummmm no we weren’t given or sent any paperwork and why would I call back with that exact info if we weren’t told about it?
Move in just uggggg! It’s like you didn’t even look in the apts till the day before move in. Broken furniture in front of my kids apt on both sides. When is the last time the vents were even cleaned and the open vent leading to my kids room is blocked by a beam so praying his room doesn’t get hot! The apt just felt dirty the faucet in the bathroom was so wobbly and holes all in walls and things like command strips left on the walls, also what’s the weird turn knob near the window???
As we were leaving the dumpsters were overflowing with broken furniture which again leads me to believe the apts weren’t even touched until just a day or 2 ago.
I’m so bummed we couldn’t cancel our lease, hope this year flys by without issue because this place isn’t great for the price- super upset!

last year they had moving contractors come in to swap out the furniture while i was at work, and when i came home they had broken a bunch of my shit. i got no notice of this so they seemingly just did it and then dipped. i sent sol photos and a total cost for what was broken, and guess who never got that $50 back and probably never will!
also it took over 6 months of filing maintenance requests and going to the office for them to repair the LITERAL BLACK MOLD from a leak that was damaging the structural integrity of the ceiling + wall. only when i started threatening serious legal action did they promise to fix it, and then their guys literally *spray painted over the damage and did nothing else.* it’s fixed now but the fact that this all happened in the first place is comically evil. this is luxury student living y’all 🤩

I have lived here for 3 years and cannot write a review scathing enough. Do not live here.
The building, falsely advertised online, once a vibrant bright colorful place of character, is now a soulless slate grey stonewall prison for people too stuck in life to get to choose where they live. While I was here, I failed out of college due to a spiral of drug addiction and isolation.
Every. Single. Light. On the property outside of the rooms is consumed by spider webs and spiders. Maintenance has a pattern of carelessly messy behavior like leaving dust filled AC filters on the floor of the apartment for us to clean up. The common rooms require shoes even after they are cleaned. The trash chutes, while I understand that they can get jammed, have been blocked off for years.
The car gates are unreliable and often just left open. The unresponsive elevator buttons end up smashed in by enraged residents or missing their handrails.
The amenities are nice I hear, I’ve never used them. Prices fluctuate wildly, encouraging lease renewals to be signed halfway through the current lease term at a major discount with no back-out policy if something happens. Leaving you with only the option to re-let your lease for a fee to someone else that you have to find yourself. Re-letting here is a nightmare. I found someone, I asked the leasing office when they should move in, I was told directly that they could move in on August 1st. A single day beforehand, on the 31st, they pulled the rug out from the deal telling him he could only move in on the 17th so they can do maintenance and a room inspection. His old lease ended on the 31st, so now he has nowhere to live, he backed out of the re-let so now the lease I have is a renewal again, which means on paper someone lives there, which means they can’t do the maintenance and inspection, so the room sits empty while the thing they told me it needed to be empty for, doesn't get done and I have to find someone else, while I continue to pay rent I can’t afford anymore, and endlessly apologizing to the person I promised a living situation who is now homeless and scrambles to pick up the pieces of his moving situation.
The room had cabinet handles missing screws, drawers loose, ceiling fans with missing bulbs and no cover, bathtubs without a drain plug, cracks in the ceiling, dishwashers that leave the dishes dirtier than when they went in, dryers that make a racket and where cleaning the lint tray makes a massive mess. Keyless entry locks for the front doors, which can run out of batteries leaving you stuck outside of your apartment or can be opened via a smartphone app which I can only imagine is much more secure than a key.
Trash piles up in the parking garage trash cans, and sometimes residents just set trash outside their door up against the wall, even though there is a dedicated trash chute room. The parking garage walls are all somehow tiled with black shoe prints.
The elevator near the leasing office had a new bright colorful interior added which made no sense considering the grey theme of the building, it inevitably had a panel torn off. Additionally, the tram and shuttle bus also follow this nonsensical outdated color and whimsy theme and should be replaced by a more featureless ash grey. It all really screams SOUL, and I CHOSE TO LIVE HERE
The water is concerningly hard, leaving mineral deposits that turn the toilet bowl and shower basin black over time. The bath faucet constantly drips. The hand towel ring and toilet paper holder are so precariously attached to the wall that any utilization of them pulls the holders off the wall to clang and clatter to the ground.
The AC, I have recently been told, can only be set as low as 72 because it will freeze, when in years prior in the heat of summer I ran it at 65 no problem.
Lastly who the hell is Hunter???
This place is hell. I am still trying to claw my way out of here attempting to escape my renewal, built to shackle me to this prison whose exterior reflects the dusty spider filled isolation void that rots in the pit of my soul.
