- RCRichard CurtisOct 22, 20255.0Smitty's is totally resposive to my heating needs. I use a wood burning insert that's about 20 years old, and they always have what I need to keep it going. They've sleeved my chimney, and with yearly inspections, it too is fully operational. The staff is prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Still no estimate of time when they would arrive. When they called to confirm second appointment I asked that I be called if it would be past 2:00. This did not happen. I called them. Cancelled my appointment and will use a different company. Very disappointed.

I am a technician and I work on pellet stoves for 10 years. Then said they probably won't have the parts ... Didn't even take part numbers.... Incredible how arrogant.

We got a second opinion from a different company, and they were able to make the same repairs for $150!!!! He said he regularly sees Smitty's over charging people. Always get a second opinion when these guys quote you.

No. Not only do we clean chimneys, but we also provide many other services. Other services we offer include wood, corn, and pellet stove sales, estimates, and installations, gas logs and gas unit sales, chimney repair and stainless relining, custom caps and chase covers, custom stone, and brickwork, hearth accessories, and pellet sales. We are also a dealer of Green Mountain Grills.
