- SHScott HillJun 23, 20231.0CRIMINALS!!!!!! They took my breathalyzer off without relaying the info to washington state. So they expected me to pay them and restart another 4 months from scratch. I walked in saying i think today is my last day, let me know if i need to sign anything. I've since decided to drive without a license for until my washington hold ends since smart start also refuses to compensate me for my issue. They claim it was my responsibility to be on the phone with washington state dmv/dol at the exact moment they were taking off my breathalizer, so they could receive the data that only the mechanic taking off the breathalyzer can retrieve in the first place, and that since it was removed its too late. They're Criminals. I pray to God that nobody brings them business ever again. Make them find a new line of work. 🙏📿

Bring a photo ID and proof of residence in the form of a document verifying your address. How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.

Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
