    Randy and the installation was perfect. 5 stars. Smart start customer service is a 2-3. 15 minutes on hold. Got my address and several other pieces of information wrong, after I repeated everything twice. I'm still hoping they get my address corrected cause the one on my permit sheet is not a valid mailing address.

    Randy is AMAZING! He makes quick work of your install and recalibration. He also is more than willing to answer any questions you may have. Now as for Smart Start the company, their customer service is ridiculous! I’ve had some problems with my vehicle so it was taken to the dealership and each time I’ve gotten it back it is in VioLock. Called them and they said fill out an incident report and you will be refunded for the recalibration. Filled out the form and got an email back saying that they do not refund for mechanic or 3rd party errors that may cause violation. Called in and spoke with “Kelly” on Saturday (March 18th) she was extremely rude and said if I didn’t like their customer service I could switch companies at any time. Extremely unprofessional and was short with me when I asked to talk to someone about my reading and what was causing my vehicle to go into VioLock, she barked at me that I would need to contact my monitoring authority. Yes they are the cheapest but there is a reason for that. Make sure your vehicle doesn’t need to go to the shop and avoid corporate at all costs! This was a 5 star review turned into a 1 star.
