  Got mine installed in Newmarket. I was told it would take 2-3hrs I was rushed out in just about an hour. That time includes them mangling my car under the hood and telling me my battery was dead. I let them know the battery had been replaced 3 months ago and that maybe they should double check the connections. The tech told me to take it back to my mechanic, which I did. I had a separate issue but asked my mechanic to double check the battery, alternator and do an electrical diagnostic of the car. While the car was in the shop they had a bypass code and the car started dozens of times but once the code was off the car wouldn’t start every 4 attempts. The diagnostic said it was a Starter Jam. This is after a pass and enough energy in the battery. Take it for monthly calibration today and, first, the Newmarket shop has no appointment for me. When I ask the tech to check connections because it’s acting up he gets defensive. As soon as I mention my mechanic he snaps, tells me he’s big mad and starts acting like he’s going to attack me. He decided to take his tantrum inside and refuses to deal with my car. Brutal customer service.

  The worst place ever, for shop that only does smart start they manage to be late every single time.

  This smart start device is completely GARBAGE. I've had my device I'm my car for about 2 1/2 months in and out of no where my car began having problems starting. I thought maybe it was my fault so I bought a BRAND NEW BATTERY foor $300 for my Mercedes Benz (which is push to start) and had the same issue, I went back to the mechanics to check other factors like wiring/ fuses/ engine/ starter etc. before complaining to smart start. That cost $850 to do. To find out thelat the breathalyzer device is draining current from my car. Now if I turn my car off for longer that 2hrs I have to boost it each time and everytime I boost my car I get a violation which I got to do because of SMART START. I've called many times to get this issue resolved and I keep getting bounced around from the smart start workers. I went to the New Market Location for an appointment that they gave me to tell me that they see nothing in the system about that. So I had to wait on hold for another hr to resolve this appointment issue. My appt got rescheduled and again I went back to New Market Shop to get no help again. Both times it was an hour drive to the shop there and an hour back to get nothing figured out. Now my battery is shot again and going to need a new one. ONCE THIS IS RESOLVED IM DEMANDING A REFUND. This program sucks. Also nothing but violations on top of violations from them. TOP SCAMMERS!!!!! Wish I could give them a negative rating 😡😡😡

  The most outrageous customer service ever. Rude, incompetent, I can go on. Never experienced anything like that. I came to my appointment however technician said she had to go home. Something was wrong, so she left and was on a phone with smart lock desk. I spent my time and gas but who cares.

  This has been the most appalling experience possible. I was told that if I ùsed Smart Start my license suspension would be reduced. I was told I had to take the Back On Track program first and was enrolled in the WRONG program although I was not told it was the wrong program until I PAID and finished the program. That required taking a second correct program with the same fee.a Then I got my ignition breathalyzer installed which has also been an absolute nightmare. If it is cold outside it doesn't work properly and your vehicle won't start. I was on vacation in July and didn't use my vehicle for the week. As a result the system drained my battery dead. A tow truck had to be called and a new battery was required I have NOT ONCE had a drink before attempting to start my vehicle with the Smart Start installed. According to Smart Start I have had THREE violations. Each time it is a 75.00 fee to get the Start Code also entails a day off work and the resulting loss of wages. I would not advise anyone to take advantage of this program as it is NOT an advantage. I will have had the same length of suspension due to ALL THOSE violations which only Smart Start can diagnose and charge the extra fees. This is a scam and a rip off don't waste your time amd money.
