Last time had to deal with the owner he's just as bad.. and they are ridiculously expensive, don't waste your money here!!.. fortunately Smart start was very quick to respond to my dilemma within minutes and was able to redirect me to a another location with friendlier service Kudos to Smart start customer service!

Super high prices.U can go to Amazon and get the exact same item and pay let's say $80 which there they jack up the price which u will pay $300 plus that's not installation included. I work at a electric car parts store, trust me i know a fair price. Dont go there. And if u ganna go there for calibration. Dont. Find a different place if u don't wanna be treated like a criminal. Never ever again for me.

What do I need to bring to my installation?
Bring a photo ID and proof of residence in the form of a document verifying your address. How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
Can I unplug my Ignition Interlock?
Check with your state authority to see if you are allowed to unplug your Ignition Interlock before doing so.
Can someone else drive my car?
Yes, but whoever is driving the vehicle MUST take a breath test and pass before driving. Any failed test will still be your responsibility.
