- TSTara ShipleyOct 25, 20251.0My husband had an interlock installed on October 10th and was told that the paperwork would be uploaded to the MVD at midnight that night. He went to the MVD the following day and they hadn’t sent it, we figured it might take some time, however, we just went back today (25th) and they STILL never sent it in. Now we’re being told 3-5 business days. So we’ll have been paying for this interlock for at least 3 weeks for no reason. We called customer service and the person refused to escalate the call. We want a refund for this time that the interlock has been completely useless and they don’t seem to care at all.

Price went from 150-200, to 150-300, lol. The bi-weekly charge, changed from "It'll cover your nxt 2 weeks and start up," to "That was just a start up fee, wee need $59 b4 installation. Lol. Then when I tried to ask for a refund do to them bein dishonest, I was shopped around from robot to robot for hours. At one point someone took all my account info, routing etc., and lost connection. When I called back they said they had NO RECORD of that and they dont ask for that kind of info. 🤯 DO NOT GO HERE. Got scammed out of 45.55. Lesson learned tho.

Bring a photo ID and proof of residence in the form of a document verifying your address. How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.

Can someone else drive my car?
