Cool guy as for the company I thought it was designed there’s been months about payment. My regular payment be 125 and I’ve never had it real no blow. We had it three years now it ain’t over yet. I’ve had it two years and 10 months we’ve gotten no real, no blows, but if you have certain wires coming done To be Noble, then you have to tell it and they told me once why I begged for mercy to something like the maintenance was on my end the very next month their air hose had a hole in it. Their air hose and my vehicle wouldn’t run and I had to tow it. I’m not responsible for their air hose so they won’t give an inch. They’re nice people when it comes to accepting your money. They’ll work with you on that the Shop dude is nice. I’m talking about Smart Start in general as for the SHOP IN Durant IT gets five stars.

The shop that installed the interlock was great & friendly. However, Smart Lock scheduled my appointment & when I got to the shop found out my appointment was canceled even though I didn't cancel. Then I get my paperwork to take to DPS & Smart Lock spelled my name wrong & put the wrong Driver's License #. I call wait on the phone for an hour, I explained what was going on just to be hung up on.... I don't need any help with making my life complicate.

What do I need to bring to my installation?
Bring a photo ID and proof of residence in the form of a document verifying your address. You may also be asked to bring any documents that pertain to your case, depending on the state in which you or your program are located. How do I know if Smart Start's devices are compliant with my program?

How often does my Ignition Interlock Device need to be serviced?

What do I need for removal?
Requirements will differ by state, but generally your state authority must grant removal authorization before you can have your IID removed. You will then need to fill out the Device Removal Request form on our website and upload any official documentation that may be required to authorize the removal.
Do I need an Interlock Device on all of my vehicles?
Some states will require that you have an Ignition Interlock Device installed on all cars registered to you, but most states will just require that whichever vehicle you drive have an IID installed. Check with your state authority to see if you will need an IID installed on all of your cars.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
Can I unplug my Ignition Interlock?
Check with your state authority to see if you are allowed to unplug your Ignition Interlock before doing so.
Can someone else drive my car?
Yes, but whoever is driving the vehicle MUST take a breath test and pass before driving. Any failed test will still be your responsibility.
