Overall, the staff seemed very aloof and no sense of urgency. I did leave with what I needed. But other than that, not satisfied.

At 9 am, they didnt even touch my truck until 11am because they stated they "had other things to do." I ended up sitting on the curb waiting for over four hours ): if i knew this, i would of dropped it off and set up a ride. They kept trying to get me to leave and come back but i had no other ride. Unfortunate for sure! Also Smart Start told me i needed 2 forms of identification and atleast 2 pieces of mail with confirmation of an adress , I went through hell looking for a 2nd picture id and even missed a first appointment because i couldnt find one in time. When i went to my appt that i had to reschedule at Sound On Wheels all they asked for was drivers lisence and registration, huge waste of time and money. Disappointing. Almost missed my legal time to get it installed because of the contradiction of necessary documentation. Super upset. Smart start is ok, avoid the third party companies though. They don't follow what the company expects and asks of you, Im irrated with the delayed service and incompetence. The communication between the nation wide smart start and local companies are non exsistant. If it wasn't court ordered i would of walked out and not paid.

Bring a photo ID and proof of residence in the form of a document verifying your address. How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
Can I unplug my Ignition Interlock?
Check with your state authority to see if you are allowed to unplug your Ignition Interlock before doing so.
Can someone else drive my car?
Yes, but whoever is driving the vehicle MUST take a breath test and pass before driving. Any failed test will still be your responsibility.
