There is no Smart Start Ignition Interlock at this address. Carolina Services, at 822 N Post Road, Shelby NC, said they’ve called Smart Start many times and told them that SS customers were coming there for service, however it’s not a Smart Start station. I had to drive an hour away just to get there from Rutherfordton just to be sent away. From there the closest Smart Start station is an hour and 15 mins away but they would be closed by the time I got there. I had to drive on home on that lockout code. Now some texting customer service person is telling me I have to get my car towed to a smart start station…again, an hour away…just for calibration. My bill has already been paid for this month. When all I need is for her to give me a service code long enough to get there. It’s horrible. I had no idea smart start would be like that here in NC. It was nothing like this in San Antonio. I don’t get it. It’s not like it’s from an error in blowing, it’s for monthly calibration. I’m beyond confused and so frustrated. Her not caring didn’t help.
