  If I could, I would give 0 stars. I purchased rocks online, which were advertised as one thing. Given the advertised photos online (1-3in), I opted to purchase them in bulk over the phone. The member on the phone was quick, to the point, and less-than-helpful in explaining the process. Just told me that I would receive a notification for delivery and that was that. Fast forward, delivery day comes. The SiteOne members, without attempt to knock/call/make notification, dumped the rock and departed. While seemingly harmless; what was delivered was not what was advertised. From view of my Ring camera, I was able to tell the product delivered was far off from what was advertised online. As fast as they were dropped, I was on the phone with SiteOne. The rep. that answered the phone was (spoiler) not helpful at all. By the time it got to the point of "I wish to speak to a manager", they were very washy about putting me in touch with him. The next day, I hear from the site manager. He claimed to be on my side, but provided nothing but grief for a week with attempts being made to have the incorrect rock picked up. His reasoning, "you cant just put the milk back in the jug." After continuously explaining that the rock delivered was not the rock advertised. He explained that there are often larger rocks in with the smaller ones, as thats how they are filtered. Unfortunately, a majority of rocks were 5-8" as I measured many as they sat in my driveway. After a week, he was finally able to find a contractor to come and retrieve the rocks. Discussions had taken place between myself and the manager about reimbursement/refund. Once the rock was retrieved, he sent me a text asking if the pick-up was satisfactory; which I responded it was. I asked when the amount to refund would become available and he stated it would take a couple days to get the invoice from the individual who retrieved the rock. After that, I never received a response back. So now, not only was I rock-less, I was out all the money for the rock and delivery fee. Again, if I could give 0 stars; I would. This was a nightmare of an experience. I was recommended to SiteOne by a trusted contractor; and it was an utter failure. For anyone looking to do projects yourself, save a little money and what not; I would NOT recommend utilizing SiteOne. Its my own fault I didnt read reviews first; but moving forward SiteOne will never receive my blessing or business.

  Dee Runk Boxwood Died - No Warranty - We purchased 3 Dee Runks (buxus sempervirens) and had them professionally planted. All 3 were next to each other in the same irrigation zone. One died within a few months. We should have checked their policy before dropping $400 on a boxwood. They offered a replacement at a discount but still no warranty. We’re not willing to spend more $ with them to resolve the issue. We’ll purchase the replacement somewhere else with a warranty.
