Wonderful dinner during Brown Family Weekend. Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Ghee Roast, Vindaloo, Korma, and some really great Calamari. Friendly service, delicious food, would definitely recommend.

The food is very great. It’s close to our house very clean nice looking restaurant. We are vegan if you are vegan just tell your server or the manager and they will be able to navigate you through the menu. Great selection of craft cocktails, and Indian beers lunch specials, an amazing price

Let me be upfront – I used ChatGPT to put this into words, but everything here comes from my own genuine experience. Honestly, I didn’t even want to leave a review, but the rude reply this restaurant gave to my friend’s feedback made me speak up.
Here’s the backstory: a few of my friends were moving out of Providence, and we all decided to have dinner here. We were excited for some good Indian food.
The good:
• Malai chicken – good
• Fried rice – good
• Mint paneer tikka – good
• Dhaba-style chicken gravy – good (except for the big tomato chunks)
The not-so-good:
• Price: way too expensive. Most dishes were above $25.
• Quantity: very small portions. Coming from India and living in the U.S., I know portions here are usually generous, but not in this case.
• Naan: didn’t taste authentic at all.
• Chicken starter: honestly inedible, we couldn’t even eat it.
• The shocker: they charged $16 just for onions, green chili, and lemon. I’ve never seen that anywhere – it was ridiculous.
To be fair, they did give us complimentary gulab jamun at the end since we were a big group. But the total bill still came to around $600.
My main issue isn’t even the food or price at this point – it’s the attitude. One of my friends left an honest review, and the restaurant’s response was downright rude. A place should be open to constructive criticism, not dismiss it.

Went there for dinner with a group of 15!
They were very accommodative. Starters was good. We tried mint paneer along with onion pakoda( which was actually good with no excessive oil)
For main course we tried their mix veg and paneer curry. Both were decent but the highlight was bullet naan which was very spicy! We tried garlic fried rice which was okay
Coming to drinks we tried anarkhali( tequila) which was very good along with the presentation. My friends tried their beer along with mango and rose lassi which was a good try. They also gave complimentary gulab jamoon which was very good!
Overall the ambience was good. If you're looking for a good Indian restaurant in downtown Providence with good ambience. This should a must try!

We had a great pre-theater dinner at Simha Indian Kitchen & Bar before going to PPAC. It’s a beautiful restaurant with dark wood, lovely tiled ceiling and impressive bar. We started with their vegetable pakoras and samosas. Wonderful! For our meal we had Chicken Ghee Roast and their Royal Biryani with vegetables only, and garlic naan. We chose to have everything made at a medium spice level and it was just enough to warm us up. We added their Mint Paneer Tikka at the last minute and were so glad we did. We will definitely be back. We ran out of time and missed their fresh made chai tea and Kashmir naan stuffed with fruit and nuts.
