  The location keeps this place thriving because if it was not located near a lake and biking paths, it would be seen as nothing more than an old run-down apartment complex. Residents talk about how they actively try to replace tenants with new ones so they can increase rent and collect deposits. You pay rent, all utilities, and you also have to pay for parking. They will constantly hound residents about everything and post fliers around the complex or send emails complaining about maintenance and upkeep. Once they issued monthly pamphlets with advice on noise reduction and went as far as to tell everyone not to talk too loud, put down more rugs or hang more pictures, and were told to stop using appliances in the evening. They will do small fixes like resurfacing the parking lot but leave a giant pothole at the entrance. The places are disgusting and never cleaned because they require tenants to do it all. The poor onsite staff running the place are at the mercy of the entitled owners that want nothing more than a paycheck. I've included a few pictures just for reference of what the place looks like on a day to day basis.

  I never thought I'd ever be the type of person to leave a review but credit goes to where it is deserved. Terri and Letty are both kind, welcoming, and hard-working individuals. They made my requests heard and were always fixed thanks to their hard working maintenance guy. I will agree they are definitely understaffed and could use an extra set of hands to help around. Nevertheless, whenever I stopped by the office they always took the time to listen and I appreciate that. Keep up the hard work staff and thank you for all your help. This place is great because you have nice views, quiet neighbors and easy access to the greenbelt. A private lake is also a plus. If you have an active lifestyle, this is the place for you.

  I have lived at Silver Bay for 9 years. I adore the community. Terry and the staff are so helpful and responsive. The buildings are older- but the location and views are unmatched. The greenbelt and river are a block away and Crunch fitness is as well. It's is a SAFE and QUIET community where neighbors know one another and care. I can't say enough.

  Terri is a total saint. I absolutely love living here and she makes it a joy to be in these apartments. I’ve lived in many places and Silver Bay is the best I have personally experienced so far.

  I’ve been a resident for 6 years now and love it! The amenities are nice and it’s close to the green belt. I appreciate the staff especially, Terri is so helpful whenever I have any concerns!
