I was in a need-to-move-ASAP situation and the property manager, Stephanie Lee, was absolutely amazing. Not only did she give me an exceptionally honest and in-depth tour, but she also got my application approved that same day. I got to see the exact unit I would be applying for, and she volunteered to complete several upgrades pre- or post-move-in should I deem them necessary (replacing carpet, cleaning out a ceiling light to make it as bright as possible, etc). She even let me opt out of the in-unit w/d to get a cheaper monthly rate. I had struggled to obtain consistent communication at other prospective apartment complexes; that was a non-issue at Shore Acres.
The complex itself felt extremely safe, and the location in Broad Ripple can't be beat. The only thing I could possibly complain about is the prices being a tad high. I may be desensitized after living downtown for years, but the construction noise seemed minor to me.
After touring over 15 complexes in the last few weeks, Shore Acres was, by far, the best experience I've had.
