  If I could give them zero stars I would. Wanted to move one piece of furniture from Miami to Boston. Family heirloom. Was initially quoted just around 1k. Okay, not great but fine. Then pick up and packing were another $500. Then extra packing was another $200. Then the item was heavy which was another 1k. In the end I paid $925 to have them pick it up and hold it in their warehouse while they tried to charge me $3,000 to deliver the item to Boston. Insane. Don’t use them. Go to any other proper moving company. These guys will rip you off.

  I had a great experience with Ship Smart. I had to move my mom across country, which I knew would be a big expense. We decided to leave her furniture at her condo so we could rent it out, so we only took her belongings (about 20 boxes). We didn't need her things quickly because she was going to stay with us as we got her apartment ready so cheaper price with a slower move was our goal and Ship Smart fit that perfectly. It didn't even take very long (3 weeks from Florida to Oregon). I called 2-3 times when trying to decide whether to move a heavy piece of furniture and they were helpful and patient giving me my options. Every time I changed the move details (more boxes, moving artwork) they sent me a revised quote with the details spelled out. Everything went great. Can't recommend them strongly enough.
