Shingle Springs Veterinary Clinic has proudly been Shingle Springs trusted local vet, since 1988. Since we opened our doors, our team has remained dedicated to providing detailed and honest care during every checkup or procedure.
This office was INCREDIBLE!!! They were so attentive and loving. You could tell they really cared about our animals and cried with us when we had to let our cat go. They were attentive and made us feel like we were the only clients. They went above and beyond to treat our beloved cat and did everything in their power for her. I will never stop recommending them. Come to them for fair prices and incredible care!

I've been here 2x both times with very sick animals that had to be euthanized. The staff here as busy as they are treated us like we were the only people there. Thats a gift and I appreciated them so much. I can't believe anyone would do a negative review.

1st impression was a bad impression I told girl in office Brutus’s emergency. She said send photos I’m walking into Drs office now to discuss photos will call you back and we can get him in tonight. Two hours goes by and no call, so i call back and ask for the same girl to follow up. Girl on phone we dont have anyone here by that name and the girls went home for the day. Dr gets on phone sorry we cant see you tonight because now it was closer to the late afternoon cause I was waiting two hours for girl. I cant discuss photos. I explain situation and he mentions the girls name same girl I talked to that they told me had gone home lol same one that was supposed to call me back. So it started off with mistrust not to mention cha ching cha ching laundry list of possible procedures and costs as well as what seemed like a requirement to put my ultra sick elder dog under anesthesia. My new Doctor at community vet in turlock was extremely honest and said hes way too old and unhealthy. Its sad that GREED is a factor when caring for Animals. I as a result had to let him suffer for another 24 hours or be forced to take him to an emergency clinic as a result of miscommunication and dis functional behavior.

Had to get my old dog an emergency follow up for Vestibular disease on Labor Day. Luckily they were open and available. Holiday prices included was around $750 ($240 for office visit, blood labs, fluid, b12, anti nausea, and tranquilizer). The staff was friendly, and the vet was obviously a seasoned professional (at least 70+ years old). They even provided the tranquilizer at no cost ($65 value). I already had my pets established at a place in Placerville, but will keep in mind for holiday and after hour emergencies. Thanks all!
