- CWCatherine WoodOct 25, 20252.0I will no longer be using Shelby Propane for my provider I have requested that Shelby Propane remove their tank from our property . Last year we had our fireplace insert serviced and checked at the beginning of the season By January the fan was not working It is a Buck insert that was bought and installed by Shelby Propane just four years ago I called and emailed to ask them to have someone check out the fan I understand last year was a very hard year on the industry I waited a reasonable time between calls only to have them say “we are very busy!” We were blessed to have additional hear so I was trying to be considerate however almost 3 months we gave up Finally someone called and said that they were “just now” given the repair request It was then spring and decided to use the rest of the gas and find service elsewhere This wasn’t the first time we had poor service but it was the worst I just can not bring myself to trust that they “service what they sale!”
