I would not recommend this business to anyone. They don’t communicate with you regarding your vehicle. I had to reach out to them to get an update. We brought our vehicle in to get our turbo checked out and was then told it was our transmission which would cost $8000 to replace. We took our vehicle to another mechanic and another ford dealership for second opinion and both of them told us our transmission was completely fine. Our service technician, Nick S., knew his customer service was terrible and told my husband that a bad review would impact his commission. Their staff are completely unprofessional.

As always I have gotten another 5 star experience through my Service representative Kevin Jenkins @ Sheehy Ford, Midlothian VA! He always makes sure I get the necessary regular maintenance on my 2016 Ford Explorer XLT or added any issues I might have on an almost 10 year old vehicle! He always keeps me updated throughout the day on how my service is going and when my vehicle is ready for pickup! I will never go anywhere else for service! I truly believe a dealership is only as good as their service department and Kevin and Sheehy are the best!

I must say that I am thankful for the experience I had a Sheehy Ford of Richmond. Between a low-balling salesman and manager, they pushed me to another Ford dealer in Richmond that treated us with respect and offered fair value for our trade. Maybe if you all were fairer in providing competitive trade in values rather than insulting low-ball offers, you would have had one less Red Explorer ST on your lot! To potential customers, I will warn you that they offer low prices on their cars but try to make it up in offering almost 10k less than actual trade in value! Do your homework before going. Also, they turned down the CarMax trade-in. We pulled a CarMax trade-in offer through their app on the phone to show Sheehy Ford were still too low on their offer. We were told that they would not accept it since it was not actually taken to CarMax. Offered to take it to CarMax. The sales rep went outside to talk to his manager and it looked like they got into a heated discussion over it. He came back and said they would still not accept it. At this point, we decided to walk out. Went to Richmond Ford and Lincoln in which they were respectful to us, accepted the CarMax value, and even beat Sheehy Fords offer on a brand new 2025 Explorer ST. Simply put, if you go to these shysters at Sheehy Ford, be ready to bend over as they will attempt to take more. To Sheehy... You are the type of dealership that makes Ford Motor Company look bad and should have your contract with Ford revoked.

I am completely appalled at the behavior I witness last night at the employees of this organization! While having dinner with my family at a local restaurant this group came in and for the most part were very nice and despite having over 30 people weren't loud. It was a group of older gentlemen and ladies. However one of the employees, a younger female, short with short hair and glasses climbed on top of the table and begins yelling out and gyrating her body saying "Sheehy where we are lazy, we so lazy" while holding up her phone. People EAT on those tables and she just climbed up on top of it like some wild animal. She could later be heard yelling "another round of drinks!" which in my opinion this woman had enough. Her coworkers looked ashamed of her. We get our vehicles services here and it always takes forever. Well no wonder, as their employee has stated they are Sheehy and they are lazy! We will be taking our business to Richmond Ford. COMPLETELYT DISGUSTED AT THIS BEHAVIOR!

Absolutely abominable service. 4 big issues. 1) 175 point inspection never checked a faulty usb port. 2) terrible finance department (Wes) runs a credit check when I am pre approved by my bank lying to me that they are connected with vacu so I didn’t need to finish my loan application…gets processed 3 x. 3) bad service advisor for the first issue ( nick Flagler) no response from any service advisors for 4 days so I drove there in the afternoon of day 4. Service manager (Stephen bishop) called me on day 5—-for what??? It took him 5 days to call me back? I cancelled my VIP membership after the first bad service I received 2 months after I bought the car. I was lied to that the paperwork was sent in…took almost 2 months to get it credited to my loan. Advisor told me I was imagining the issue with my car and that he personally checked it. Then I was lied to about fixing the part and it was never done. Finally a different advisor checked and saw the issue and believed me and part got fixed. My car supposedly passed a 175 point blue certified check but never checked that usb port to see it didn’t work. Second issue occurs with a leaky shock. Still under warranty. I called for 4 days with no response from service to get my car in. Even called the manager and left him a few messages. On day 4 in the afternoon, I drove there to actually talk to someone. New advisor on day 4 afternoon was good but lost all trust in Sheehy and cancelled my appointment and got my car at a different dealership. Careful in buying a used car as their shotty inspection can cost you $100 for every time you need to get the car fixed with things that should not go bad when you have the car with low miles and for 4 months. No reason to have a leaky shock at 27k miles. In all my lifetime owning cars it took 211k to see that happen on a car that was 10 years old. Ridiculous. They don’t back their product. What’s the point of a 175 point inspection if they won’t fix the problems that were there to begin with. Since now that I have been told I can go to any Ford, I don’t have to go back to this terrible service department.
